Truly phenomenal experience with Dr. Emblom and his team for a new injury. I felt so confident to take care of health needs. Even though I was hesitant about surgery, he didn't hide the ball or talk in a way where I felt confused. He went straight to the point and showed me exactly what the issue was in a way I understood.

Dr. Emblom took a conservative approach to treating my labral tear, as opposed to jumping straight to surgery, which I appreciate! The staff was friendly and helpful. The entire process was efficient, too! The entire appointment, including imaging and a steroid injection, took less than 2 hours. Great experience!

I am very happy with my experience w Dr Emblom and the Andrew's Sports Medicine team. They were all very pleasant, and efficient. All were top notch! I really appreciated that on my first visit, they did x-rays and then recommended an MRI to get to the root of the issue and make the correct diagnosis. I had that done on site and then saw Dr for the results and treatment plan. Could not be more happy. I highly recommend Dr Emblom and the rest of the team!

Dr. Emblom has been great. He has performed 2 surgeries for me and I am scheduled for another one next week. He and the rest of the staff at Andrews Sports Medicine have been so helpful and explained everything so well. They have actually listened to me when I couldn’t get anyone in Tuscaloosa to so my drive of over an hour has been well worth it. Thanks so much Dr. Emblom!

I love Dr. Emblom. Professional yet personable & friendly. He knows his stuff & he will get you fixed up and back in your routine. He’s performed about five successful operations on me, & I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else. He has a great staff too. They get back with you quickly & are very professional & friendly too. I highly recommend Dr. Emblom & Andrews Sports Medicine.

I saw Dr. Emblom back in 2015 for a torn right distal bicep tendon. Since the injury occured six years before, none of the surgeons would touch it. Enter Dr. Emblom to the rescue. Dr. Emblom took a good look at it and said "I'll fix it". He believed it was a partially torn tendon. However, once he got into the arm he realized it was a chronic case. He repaired the tendon with the use of an endobutton. It has been eight years now, and the bicep is still working. Although the anatomy is different (which was expected since I blew it completely out), the weakness and fatigue that was occuring with regular daily activities is gone. I liked Dr. Emblom's work so much that I went back to him shortly after to have a left elbow scope to take out bone spurs, osteophytes etc. I highly recommend Dr. Emblom for your elbow needs. Leaving this message has been on my heart for a good while. I am going back to give reviews to those surgeons that really helped me.
