Dr. Pearson has done 3 surgeries on my back, a lumbar fusion and fusion of both SI (sacroiliac) joints. He is kind and compassionate, he listens to his patients, and is very knowledgeable. He is one of the few doctors that does surgery on the SI joint, I haven’t found any other doctor in the Birmingham area that does this surgery. However, it has helped me tremendously with my SI joint dysfunction, I highly recommend this surgery and Dr. Pearson if you have these problems. He also does spinal cord stimulators for chronic pain.

Dr. Pearson is thorough, experienced and a good communicator. He has excellent surgical skills and has operated on my daughter many times for a congenital condition. Highly recommend.

Dr Pearson performed my back surgery over a year ago and I wish I could give him 10 stars. He saved my life. I know I would have ended up in a wheelchair if not for his intervention. And the office staff was nice and organized.

This practice deserves less than 1 star. They never return your calls and when you have test done, good luck with getting the results. I will be seeking another doctor and practice. If you can't return your patients calls then you don't need to be in practice anymore.

Dr. Pearson and Dr. McGrew performed surgery on me in July 2021. The surgery was extensive. Although I didn't have the outcome I wanted, none of this can be blamed on Dr. Pearson or Dr. McGrew. The tumor was just too large to save my hearing. I have been a nurse for over 35 years and Dr. Pearson has THE BEST bedside manner I have ever seen. He is passionate about what he does and compassionate with his patients. He and his office staff have been outstanding in their follow up care with me. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Pearson and highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Pearson after having an unpleasant experience with a neurologist in Huntsville. Dr. Pearson was great! I feel very comfortable with his treatment plan.

Terrible listener, focused on areas of medicine he has no background, degree, or credentials instead of my spine history and concerns.

Dr Pearson diagnosed what was causing the neuropathy in my left leg on my first visit. I had a tumor pressing on my perineal nerve. I had lived with chronic pain for 3 yrs. I continued to have ongoing pain in both my legs after that so a couple of years later I had a lumbar laminectomy that removed pressure off the nerves in my lower back which again was successful. Everything Dr. Pearson has said that would fix my problems has worked. I would highly recommend him for any kind of neurological procedure.

For several years, I suffered with lower back pain and had shooting pains down my right leg, and in my pelvic area. In 2017, I had a discectomy and a laminectomy to relive pressure from a budging disc performed by an orthopedic surgeon. Sadly, it was not a successful surgery. For years, I went to a chiropractor, practiced yoga, got massages regularly, I stretched - I did everything I could think of to get relief in a healthy manner. This past summer I took my kids to the beach which is our tradition - we have been known to walk miles on the beach . Well, this trip I could barely make it to the water. I put on a happy face for the kids... it was their trip to have fun. But when we got back to Birmingham, I fell into a depression and watched my world get smaller and smaller. Finally, a friend of mine told me about his back pain and that he had surgery and his pain was gone - like, he was running again. His surgeon was Dr. Blake Pearson. Well, I called the very next day, made an appointment, new MRI was scheduled, etc. There is something so kind, and compassionate about Dr. Pearson... I finally felt seen, I felt heard. He knew what was wrong with my back and one month later he operated on my back - L3/L4 fusion. And today, (I feel like I am about to cry here) I am pain free.... when I left the hospital - day after surgery - I was pain free.... I am a 54 year old very lucky Mom of two amazing kids and I got my life back because of Dr. Blake Pearson. God bless Dr. Blake Pearson.

Dr. Pearson completed my surgery while part of another practice and now is refusing to see me and I am having issues after his surgery. This is unethical.
