I never saw Dr. Lemak - only his assistant. I was disappointed. No further follow up so how will I know if my hip has healed!

It was the worst visit I’ve ever had there. My appointment was at 10 am. Two people were ahead of me. I waited about 30 minutes to be called back and then took a few x-rays. Waited for about 15 minutes and was put in a room. Waited and waited. I was about to leave when the PA knocked on door and entered. Not Dr. lemak but his PA. This visit is for surgery and I would have liked to talk to the doctor doing the surgery. It is now 12 pm. I’ve been there 2 hours. He stays about 10 minutes discussing surgery. He leaves and says we’ll get you set up. I wait another 20 minutes and no one comes so I leave. My appointment was at 10 am and it is now 12:30 pm. And it’s an hour and a half drive. The standard has gone down from my previous surgeries and doctor visits with him. I’ll probably get another doctor who has time to do surgery. And I signed a paper telling me if I’m 15 minutes or over late I have to reschedule.

Dr. Lemak is a fantastic orthopedic surgeon and has great bedside manner, his PA and MA both have a terrible attitude and ugly bedside manner. Also, his medical assistant won't take the time to return phone calls to a treating physician's office.
