Greenvale Pediatrics- Hoover's Online Review Report Card

We love Dr Carter! His patient/doctor interaction with my boys is amazing! They actually don't mind going to the doctor and his staff is the best!

Let me start this by praising Dr. Carter and his team, they are fantastic and I recommend them to everyone! The only problem is to see the doctors you have to pass by the front desk. This is the WORST front desk personnel I’ve EVER experienced. I cannot overstate how rude and heartless they are. Children’s Hospital should clean house and hire people who care and treat people how they would want to be treated.

Horrible front desk staff. So incredibly rude, but I see from some of the other reviews that I'm definitely not the first to express this. We had to be seen here instead of the Alabaster office (who are absolutely wonderful by the way), when my newborn was discharged from the hospital on a Friday. They were so incredibly rude. If I was a new first time mom, I would've been in tears from the way I was treated on top of being newly postpartum. The medical assistant was quite unpleasant as well. The doctor was okay, but she did almost drop my newborn. I just wouldn't recommend this location at all.

My child stepped on glass they never cleaned up from the last patient using the room, so there’s that incompetence . The n there is the WORST front desk people I have ever had to deal with. So much so that I have decided to no longer bring my kids here any longer. They refuse to allow us to speak with our pediatrician (Dr. Spenser) or leave her a message about my sick children. The office manager thought it was hilarious. I would give this place 2 stars for the doctor, but if the doctors would do some homework and see what kind of staff they have, they would hopefully do something about it. Negligence in the office could mean negligence elsewhere.

Dr. Anderson is the best! Very caring and knowledgeable! He takes time with his patients and is great with kids!

Refused to see my daughter even though she’s a patient. ZERO stars. The receptionist told me I’m better off finding a new clinic.

Greenvale Pediatrics is the most amazing group of pediatricians! My daughter has been a Greenvale patient since her birth in 2014, and there is no where else I would dream of taking her! The staff at Greenvale does such an incredible job of making my daughter comfortable that she does not even get nervous when we have an appointment…whether it be a well visit or a sick visit. We started at the Alabaster office seeing Dr. Stewart and followed her to the Hoover office…that’s how much we love her! When Dr. Stewart has been out of office, we have loved every pediatrician we have seen at Greenvale! The nursing staff is top notch as well. I am so so grateful for Greenvale Pediatrics!!!

I've been taking my kids here for 25 years. I honestly have no idea how I would have survived being a parent ( a lot of those years a single parent ) without Dr Cortopassi. Even when I spent 5 years in another state I would come back here for vaccinations. Greenvale is the best.

Can anyone at this location pick up a phone? I've called 3 separate times and been on hold for over an hour waiting for someone to answer so I can schedule an appointment for my oldest son. Also the patient portal is garbage. You can't schedule an appointment because the drop down menu saying reason for visit doesn't have any options, so you can't get an appointment online either. Also I checked our upcoming appointments on the patient portal and it says there are none even though I confirmed a well check for both my boys on the way out with the receptionist. Finally if I am nicer as a customer than the glaring eyes and snippy tone I meet behind the counter checking us in, I'm out. Your doctors may be great but if I can't get an appointment and I'm made to feel inferior when I take my kid to an appointment I can find an equally awesome doctor probably closer to my house. BYE!
