Dr. Matthews treated me as a person and not as just another case. He cared about me personally. He made sure I was comfortable and all my questions were answered BEFORE the surgery. On the day of surgery, HE PRAYED FOR ME before taking me to the operating room. I have had three surgeries by him and he has prayed before each one. He is the best.

I’ve had a couple of procedures and 4 major surgeries by Dr. Mathews. I couldn’t have asked for better care than what I received. Very minimal pain and no complications. I’m so glad that I made the decision to choose him as my surgeon.

The 2nd WORST Dr I have ever seen! I was sent to him for a breast biopsy. He came n told me I've got Stage 2 breast cancer. Walked out the receptionist said if I have any questions or concerns to PLEASE call them. Well I did. They NEVER returned not 1 if my 7 phone calls! What a way to treat someone! I got ALL my assistance from the American Cancer Society. He didn't care about me not 1 bit!

I and my husband are in the best shape of our lives thanks to Dr. Mathews. I am a firm believer that he saved our lives as they were spiraling out of control due to an unhealthy love affair with food. We both are down almost 100 pounds each and could not be more satisfied with the results.
