Dr. Sapp and his entire staff are amazing at what they do. I have to get shots in my eyeball. I can honestly say I do Not dread going to him even if i have to have a shot. He and his crew are very caring individuals. They get a 5 Star easily. In case I haven't told you sir, Thank you Dr. Sapp.

I have been seeing Dr. Sapp for a few months now, and I have had eye bleeds and some other stressful and for me scary issues. He is very patient and I truly feel like he cares. He makes appointments less stressful by always being in a good mood and uplifting. He never makes me feel bad if I come in thinking my vision has changed, and nothing has. I would and do recommend him for anyone who needs a retina specialist.

Dr. Sapp is the best - he has treated me for age related macular degeneration for more than ten years and I couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism, knowledge, and ability to treat my condition. Thank you Dr. Sapp for saving my vision.

Dr. Mathew Sapp, MD is one of the finest professionals I have ever known - truly deserves more than a 5 star rating. He first starting treating me more than 10 years ago for age related macular degeneration - at the time I had no idea what that disease entailed. Dr. Sapp fully explained to me that there was no cure, but there was a treatment. I have received injections over that period of time and my vision has been stable at 20/20. Well done Dr. Sapp - well done. You are the best!

Dr. Sapp is a kind man that saved my husband's vision. We had a bad experience with another retina doctor in Birmingham and unfortunately lost vision. Dr. Sapp has restored my husband's vision and has been the answer to our prayers!

Dr Sapp is the best doctor! I am a nurse that used to work at the hospital where all the retina surgery in the city of Birmingham is done. Dr Sapp is always so kind and attentive to his patients and his patients always did very well. I noticed something while working there: all the physicians, nurses, parents of the doctors, etc had surgery with one doctor--Dr Sapp. Whether surgery was for retinal detachment or macular hole or even floaters, all the folks "in the know" would trust their vision to him. Recently, I developed a macular pucker which requires surgery to correct--I thought this stuff was only supposed to happen to other people! When it came to my eyes, I did the same thing all those other healthcare professionals did--I got an appointment with Dr Sapp! I thought it would be awkward to be on the receiving end of healthcare (something that I'm not accustomed to), but Dr. Sapp and his staff are so professional that it wasn't at all. I had surgery and guess what? I made a full recovery to 20/20! Thank you Dr Sapp! You are my hero!

Dr. Sap has been treating my 93 year old mother for 6+ years. She is completely comfortable with him and has even commented how he treats her like a real person. We have had some experiences where doctors talk "around" her -- because of her age. Dr. Sap always gives her a big hug and they talk and cut up which makes her very comfortable. His expertise has saved her vision which we feel very blessed. I would highly recommend Dr. Sap to anyone.

We have been taking our mother to Dr. Sap for over five years. She is currently 93 years old and she absolutely loves him. She tells him he makes her feel like a real person, instead of an old person that he doesn't care about. I would highly recommend Dr. Sap to anyone. His expertise in eye care has saved my mother's eye sight. He is a wonderful and caring doctor.

Dr. Sapp is GOAT (greatest of all time) of Retina doctors. I go every 6 months. He always remembers me and asks about my husband. The staff is amazing. I never ever have to wait long. He makes sure I understand what's going on. When I had tobhave some emergency laser in the office. He made sure my husband was there before he did my procedure. He is absolutely the best.
