I went in with chest pains and the following morning Dr Sample did the Scope procedure. When I woke up the nurse told me Dr Sample found nothing wrong. Dr Sample never spoke to me so I could get answers to my questions. He gave me a "sample" of medical care. I'm left to figure out on my own why the chest pains without an explanation.

Highly, highly recommend Dr. Sample. He took the time to listen to me. He diagnosed my problem after a few test and I am feeling so much better. I will always be grateful to him

He treated my mother in his last workplace in Cookeville, TN. Rather than listening to her new claims of extreme fatigue, he seemed to see an overweight woman with diabetes and told her to not eat bread and man-splain what a carb was. She was offended and hurt by the textbook demeanor of reading of his notes he'd taken the last time he'd seen her for the first 10 minutes of their meeting - one might assume he'd have read them before walking in. I hate to leave a bad, upset review, but I've been ruminating on this for a while - seen her decline and seen his dismissive nature. The final straw was when she found out from her primary care doctor that he'd moved away because "Cookeville was too small for him" and never even sent a letter to let her know. Primary doctor also said he would have run another test with her symptoms and never let her leave. Seems symptomatic of nonchalance, nonpersonal care, and focus on career not patient. Reviews are for a reason and these are my two cents. I hope others had a better experience.
