The care and detailed information provided by Dr. Blackburn surpasses any experience I have previously had with other providers. It is apparent he takes pride in his practice with ultra-modern equipment, updated interior, and a well-maintained office. His staff are professional and a pleasure to visit every appointment! Made a switch from the retailer eye doctors because I did not like seeing a different doctor every year. Dr. Blackburn is very thorough, and overall nice guy. The staff is friendly as well, could not have made a better decision.

Highly recommend! I scheduled an appointment for my 11month old and was a bit hesitant at first because I thought he would never sit still for the eye exam. I called the office and voiced that concern and they told me not to worry the doc was a “pro” with kiddos. Within mins of the exam, the doc had already pulled out a stash of toys to keep my son entertained, he even made cool barnyard sounds which my son thought was hilarious (ask the doc to do his kitty cat impression-it was a hit with us). It worked, we made it through the appointment, and my son’s eyes are fine. Again, highly recommend if you are seeking a place to take your children.

The staff is very knowledgeable about what they do. They are very polite and professional. Dr. Blackburn is very through and explains what the different test show and if there are any issues.

The first visit for a checkup was quite uneventful, and ran a little longer than it should have. Undeterred though, I booked appointments for two more family members. Just two hours before our visit the office called to cancel. No apology or reason was offered, staff seemed disinterested and rude, in almost annoyance perhaps because cancellations often occur? I was placed on hold to reschedule and gave up. The team was so disorganized I received two more phone calls within the hour to talk again about the cancelled appts. My takeaway is that this office lacks professionalism and staff could benefit from patient experience leadership.

Dr. Blackburn and his entire staff genuinely care about you as a person and a patient. The thoroughness of their treatment as well as their technological capabilities are second to none. I highly recommend their practice.
