I had this done 18 years ago and I am still happy with myself . Looking forward to my son getting it done for his Christmas of his senior year this year

This was a NIGHTMARE! They stressed to be out 6weeks, but did release me 4weeks without restrictions, after I had been taken off schedule at work. I had wound leakage and they were not closing. I called and emailed the continuously, showing pictures and videos, and all I was told was not to cover them; dont put any ointment on. After days of this, and they never asked me to come in, I went to local AFC and asked to be swabbed and sent to LabCorp. After waiting 5days, results showed I had contracted MRSA. I was livid! I called and told them, they asked me to fax results to them ASAP. So, I'm driving around to get fax done so they can order me meds. I was up on 2 types of antibiotics before finally seeing results. Only after I got help from AFC, as well as pack instructions for nurses at my job, that when Dr. Miles requested I come in. I felt like just a customer, rather than a patient; I wish I never got the surgery! I went in 225lbs but after liquid diet, I weighed in at 208lbs day of surgery. I am also solid so I didnt look my weight and also have PCOS. 7months later, I'm 198lbs! All I have to show for is rash, scars, constipation and severe heartburn! I do know a few people, that were over 250lbs, that had this done by another surgeon, and saw great results; I was not one. After i tried to share my 6mth review on their FB page, I was then block from commenting. Good luck to you all and wish you better experience than I had.
