List of Nitin Chhabra's Reviews
Dr. Chhabra has been very helpful and caring. Answers questions fully and also will respond to email fast.
This is one dr that obviously hates people. He truly does NOT care about his patients, he is a dr for the $$$ that is all. He is arrogant and rude and acts like he would rather be anywhere else than treating patients. Its like his parents told him he has to be a dr or they wouldnt pay for his college. The staff is always new. You never see the same nurses and they all seem so unhappy but I would probably be unhappy too if I had to work for that arrogant jerk. The black Maserati is his. That yell you anything?
Dr Chhabra has always done his best, he and his staff fo see that things were as smooth and comfortable as they could be. Always tried to make sure my pain was reduced as best as they could
Through, accommodating, explained why he wanted to certain treatments!
Unaccommodating, overly busy practice, unfriendly and obviously do not want or need new patients.
After searching for a pain management specialist and finding either doctors who just run patients through a pill mill, or the other extreme don't believe that pain medication should be part of a treatment plan, I was so happy to finally find The Birmingham Pain Center and Dr. Chhabra. He is very professional, kind, thorough, and ensured that all my questions and concerns were answered. It was wonderful to see a doctor who viewed me as a whole person, not just a diagnosis.
Saw him one time... And then never even acknowledge d my existence in the hall. They never listened to my issues just said try this, and come give urine. Even told me to not see my neurosurgeon cause there the only ones that need to examine me. After seeing my surgeon they made me come once a month for reviews. When I went for a follow up with another Dr they called and said we don't want to treat you anymore
I met and spoke with Dr. Chhabra for about 30 minutes my FIRST VISIT. In the next 2 1/2 years, I didn't speak to him at all, except for brief small talk before an epidural. You will NEVER get a person when you call, you must leave a message. The doctors will never call you back. Even the physicians assistants won't call you back. Only the nurses. Shame on me for letting them treat me for so long. These doctors, physicians assistants, and nurses DO NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS. They care about insurance, scheduling costly procedures, and I don't know what, but it certainly wasn't my health they were focused on. The callback nurse, Gladys, is very rude, doesn't listen, and frequently didn't relay my messages to the Dr. or P.A. They will call you back, but they won't help you. The records department is the same. It's been weeks and I still don't have my records. Find a doctor who really cares about you, and wants to help you. Don't get stuck with Chhabra like I did, stuck on auto repeat, suffering, while he rakes in the bucks. He flat out doesn't care.
The doctors and staff and Birmingham Pain Center, including Chhabra, are not concerned with the well being of their patients. Insurance, money, forms, procedures, these are what they know. Compassion and concern are not priorities. Go anywhere else but there. Find a doctor that really cares about you.
good listener the first visit after that you only see assistant but they stay in touch with him. He is excellent when doing blocks and makes sure you are ok. NOT a pill pusher but gives you what you need adjusts or tweaks until you can live with pain yes I recommend

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
