I had the displeasure of having an appointment with this doctor yesterday. I found his demeanor to be condescending and toxic, everything i said was wrong! He told me that I had high cholesterol, but had he looked at my lab results from 3 weeks prior, he'd have seen that my cholesterol numbers are very good

Has kept my 85 year old mother waiting at Brookwood for 4 hours & counting!!!

This group runs like clock work. Everyone works together and seems to go very smoothly. Dr. Colon is very knowledgeable and takes up time with you. The nurses and staff have always been friendly and helpful.

1st appointment was rushed, I couldn't even get an echo or blood work because everyone was gone. My nurse wrote my information on a scratch paper & charted nothing because the follow up nurse knew nothing! My follow up was a phone call to READ results of a heart monitor and I was charged $200.

Dr. Colon, I guess Dr. Colon assumed that I was an uneducated and "ill informed" patient?? I actually have spent the last 17 years in Biotechnology and have a high level of education. Dr. Colon, as we were discussing my health during my "annual visit", had the "nerve" (white coat syndrome-common in the Cardiologist world) to say that my "mask: does not work, if the mask is not covering my nose. This was a brief period during the exam ( he was sitting at a desk typing on the computer), not actually doing the physical check-up, which consisted of a brief "listening" to my heart via the stethoscope. No kidding, we were having a discussion and my mask just happened to slip down below my nose. My BAD, Dr. Colon, native of the great city of New Orleans (NOT-he attended Archbishop Rummell or Archbishop Scummell). Please don't treat me like I am the average "uneducated or under-educated" patient, please. Have more respect. I am a "private pay" insurance patient, not the government.

Dr. Colon, very condescending Cardiologist. Did not listen to my concerning regarding "statin-side effects", actually started quoting "clinical trials" and discounting "statin side-effects". I am positive that there is "equal data" that confirms statin side effects!! I mean why would they do these massive "post approval" adverse event, blinded control trials if the adverse event had not been reported so often over the last 20 plus years?? I am educated and I have been in Biotechnology for the last 17 years. WHITE COAT SYNDROME-look it up, it is REAL. I have tried 4 statins and I guess I "am just creating" the same side effect that has been reported since the FDA approval of statins? Please choose an un or under educated patient to pull this "nonsense" on the next time you try to "impress" your patient with your DEEP KNOWLEDGE and ABUNDANT WISDOM. Not impressed, maybe that is one of the reasons patients don't ask questions??? YOU THINK?? You have the "white coat and scrubs", and us patients are all ignorant!!

If I could give no star I would. I never leave reviews. However, my husband went in on the 16th of November for some test. It’s the 11th of December and we still don’t have those results. I have called every day. His paper work reads stat meaning quickly/emergency. His blood pressure was high like high high 160/100 it took a week for them to call back by then his regular physician worked him in and changed his meds but it should have been his cardiologist. There is no excuse for this I have asked for supervisors and everything. Please go somewhere that they care. Another lady I talked to said if she would have listened to them she wouldn’t be here today. She had 95 percent blockage in her LAD/ widow maker that they missed as well at CVA. This doctor should not be aloud to practice if he neglects patients and that’s exactly what he has done in my husbands case. They say they put their heart into treating yours. If that’s the case they would all be dead by now considering it’s a month with no call and my husband has what could possibly be a serious condition.

I first met Dr. Colon after my husband had been admitted through the ER having tightness in his chest. Dr. Colon was the doctor on call. When he came in, he had the most pleasant attitude. He was very concerned about the pains and the high blood pressure my husband had. He explained to us the plan for the day and immediately began the process. Before the end of the day, we had test results and were moving toward the procedure to help resolve the issues. He was very attentive and was willing to listen to any concerns we had. Since my husband already had a cardio doctor, in the same group as Dr. Colon, we continue going to him for visit. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a cardiovascular specialist.

It been awhile but from what I remember it was ALL GOOD . The doc listened to me and gave me a through exam . I would reccomend him to others

My experience with this place rates as a five star office. All the staff keeps the process of your appointment Moving in a timely manner. My experience with the lab testing and everyone in test lab have been very well trained and professional. My doctor is precise with directions and my plan of action.
