Terrible commnications. Phone system didn't work. Didn't respond to paitent portal message after a month. Still Pain from surgery after 9 months. Secretary rude and never apologized. They charged me a co-pay to come back for followup pain. Nothing but scam. Only interested in dollars not patient care.

This Dr. Kent and his staff is amazing! I am treated as if I am his only patient. He takes time with me and listens. Every time I have gone in, the wait time is minimal. Most of the time I go straight back. Anytime I have needed to call the office or nurses with questions, I get responses right away or they get back to me quickly. This whole team will take care of you as one of their own. I highly recommend using this practice!! Thank you Dr. Kent for your time and expertise!

The BEST wound care doctor that I have ever come across!!! He's knowledgeable and kind, funny yet about his business and FIRM! He truly cares about his patienrs & he pulls NO punches! I recently had a partial thyroidectomy. Dr. Kent was very thorough in explaining my options during my first visit. I decided to proceed with surgery. The surgical procedure went very smoothly. He was very pleasant and professional at my follow up visit. I am glad I chose him.

Dr.Kent has treated me with a wound that wouldn't heal.After 2 recommendations to have a BKA(below knee amputation)Dr.Kent used his expertise in wound care to treat and heal my wound,so that I am able to keep my foot. Thank God I had his knowledge and skilled hands in my treatment.

Dr. Kent performed my partial thyroidectomy after 20 years of living with a multi-nodular thyroid goiter. I was referred to him after a very thorough physical and ultrasound, whose results found a large, growing mass on one half of my thyroid. Dr. Kent’s office called and scheduled me to get in very quickly. I was apprehensive about surgery due to never having any before, but from the moment I met Dr. Kent, he put me at ease. He and his staff are professional, direct, and accommodating. My insurance had a hiccup and his office worked diligently to have my surgery approved in less than a week. The day of surgery I was extremely anxious and scared. Once again, the state of the art facility in Vestavia exceeded my expectations and I was cared for from the moment I arrived until they literally put me in to my car. The one thing I cannot say enough about is Dr. Kent. He came and explained everything to me moments before surgery and when they were rolling me down the hall, I saw him and he gave me a smile that put all my anxiety aside. I had my follow up today and again, Dr. Kent went above and beyond to explain his findings and the steps I needed to take for follow up. I am beyond pleased with my experience and would recommend Dr. Kent and his staff to anyone suffering with their thyroid.

Dr Kent is the best. I have been seeing him off & on since 2012. I see him for wound care for venous stasis ulcers on both of my ankles. He spends time with you & his staff are the best also. Every single one of them. So…if you need a wound care specialist or a surgeon, then I highly recommend him.

Dr. Kent was absolutely the best. I will remember him all my life for sure. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 30 and he performed my surgery (a tumorectomy). He really calmed me down, helped me with any question I might had, answering my phone every time I called during a crisis, apart of making the procedure perfectly. 2 years later, my breast has a couple of really tiny scars and I'm really thankful for all his help. I'd chose him for my surgery 100 times.

Appreciate Dr Kent very much! As a nurse for 30 years, I'm very particular about the healthcare I receive, and was gratified to have a physician so willing to answer my questions in detail and set my mind at ease as far as surgery. I also am grateful for his nurse Lori, who was kind and compassionate as well as excellent at her job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
