Dr. Kent did my surgery for thyroid cancer 6 years ago. Still in remission and my scar looks so good, I’m trying to figure out how to have him do a tummy tuck because I’ve had plenty of other surgeries, and NO other surgeon has left me with an undetectable scar.

Through a car accident I received two puncture wounds, one very deep! The Hospital stitched me up, but it soon came right back open. I went from doctor to doctor, infection after infection, until a nurse in an Urgent Care center referred me to Dr. Raleigh Kent at the Wound Care Center. From the first day he made a difference, knowing just how to clean it out and dress it. It was a long healing process, but steady progress. A puncture wound is not like other cuts or wounds and does not heal the same. Doctors and Hospital staff are just not trained to take care of it. It requires a wound care specialist, and Dr. Kent at Brookwood is the BEST!

My mother is 97. Due to her age, her skin has become very thin. Consequently, whenever she falls or scrapes furniture, etc. she opens quite a large wound. Any healing is difficult to accomplish. Dr. Kent and his staff have come to moms rescue on two separate occasions since Sept. 2021. They have Conducted wound care for her with complete professionalism and efficiency. They each work hard and are very knowledgeable in regard to wound care. We would not hesitate to call on Dr. Kent in the future where needed. Mike-(Son)

Best experience with Dr Kent and the entire staff at Brookwood Wound Center Outstanding! My husband went last week with excessively swollen legs and fluid oozing out of an open wound about 4/5 inches long. He received treatment and I was told how to continue it. We returned this week and his legs are SO Much better- the wound has healed and swelling greatly reduced. I have instructions to continue with until most swelling is gone and info on compression socks that he will need to wear ongoing. Everyone was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Dr Kent and his nurse took time with my husband and myself to explain causes and treatment. We could not have asked for better experience. I would highly recommend DR Kent and the Brookwood Wound Center to anyone.

Following surgery, I posted a positive review concerning Dr. Kent. Unfortunately, I will have to give my experience with his staff a terrible rating. Due to their error I was billed over $2000. 2 members of Dr. Kent’s office staff admitted they failed to inform me that the appropriate referral had not been received, resulting in my insurance not paying. It only makes sense that if I had known his office had not received the requested referral, I would’ve change the appointment until the referral was received. Dr. Kent’s office manager has refused my phone calls and subsequently placed my account in collections.

Dr. Kent is not only a great surgeon but he is a wonderful human being. It was clear pretty quickly that I was not in need of surgery but he still took time to listen to my issue and helped me find the appropriate doctor. He saw the absolute desperation and pain on my face and he cared! He personally called a couple of doctors on my behalf to find the appropriate person for me to see. In a healthcare environment that is currently overloaded it meant the world to me that this man heard me! He went above and beyond to help me even when my problem wasn’t his specialty. This is what a physician should aspire to be. Thank you Dr. Kent for your kindness and genuine concern.

i was sent to Dr. Kent by my dermatologist after an operation on my leg for cancer. The open wound was not healing. With in one week after my first visit to Dr. Kent the wound had made an amazing improvement. Two months later it was completely healed. I found Dr. Kent to be an excellent surgeon who explains what needs to be done and and if you follow his instructions you will be very satisfied with the results as I was. I also must add that his staff will make you want to come back just to see them. They are the most pleasant people to be around and make you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. I highly recommend them all.

I was referred to Dr Kent for a nasty wound on my toe. I could not have asked for better care . I had seen several doctors and was making very slow progress under their care but after ONE visit with Dr Kent , I could already tell a huge difference. He was always very pleasant, personable , and professional. The staff including his medical records attendant, admitting nurse, receptionist , and individual nurses were amazing- probably the most efficient and nicest staff I have ever dealt with. After one visit we knew we were in the right place. I would highly recommend Dr. Kent III.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kent as well as his office staff. I had a staph infection on my foot and had been to the ER twice and to two different doctors offices. No one I mean no one looked or took care of this infection. I got an appointment with Dr. Kent whom I had never met. His staff got me an appointment very quickly. He was great. He took care of my wound extremely effectively. He treated my wound as well as gave me medicine which healed my wound in a week. He is amazing. His staff is amazing. Their office was very clean and all wore a mask. I would recommend him and his staff. I had a wonderful experience. I will be back if I have another issue.

I was referred to Dr. Kent for my parathyroid surgery, along with a problem with my thyroid. I read the reviews, but decided to used him anyway after being told what an awesome doctor he is. I’m not sure of the situations, but I do know that this was my first ever surgery and Dr. Kent, his staff, and the entire hospital staff were wonderful. I did not meet one person who was even close to being rude. Any question we had, we would call, and his assistant would answer. Never acting like she was being bothered at all. If I have to have a surgeon in the future, or any family member, they will go to Dr. Kent. I wish all doctors had his personality. He made sure we were informed, and every question. I was completely ar ease going in.
