Late December of 2019 I experienced some chest pains. After 3 stents, not unusual. Doctor Mirza was on Christmas holiday but I was able to talk with her Nurse Practitioner, Danette Sanford, who suggested I have a stress test done & because of those results, thanks to the staff at Cardio Vascular Associates (CVA), a follow-up heart cath revealed serious damages to my heart & a day later I had open-heart surgery for a quadruple bypass and a aortic valve replacement. Surgery went perfectly thanks to Dr. Ronson & his staff & certainly big thanks to the ICU staff, the Cardiac Vascular staff at Brookwood Hospital who ALL were fantastic!! But my biggest thanks go to Dannette Sanford whose knowledge & personal attention to my situation put all. of this in motion. The post-surgery care from Dr. Mirza & the folks at CVA has kept me in good shape ever since. I highly recommend their services. I am forever grateful!

Dr. Mirza was my cardiologist at a recent hospital stay. She was both professional and caring, taking time during each phase to explain what was going on and answer questions.

Dr Mirza took care of my husband after open heart surgery. We never felt she spend time or seemed geniuely interested in him in a wholistic way. However, things went from bad to worse when she stopped an important medication due to certain side effects--This was OK as a short term measure. But she never followed -up, no communication at all, --until finally my husband became really ill. At that point it was clear it was time to get help and we are now very happy with our new team of doctors in a new hospital. Good luck to her patients--- We sincerely wish you well and hope she is able to take good care of you--But we can not lie this was not the case in our experience.

I find Dr. Mirza to be very professional and personal email. She seems to genuinely care about the whole person, not just cardio-vascular issues. She takes time to listen to and provide answers for my questions.

Dr. Mirza discovered problems with my heart and she recommended surgery. Surgery was done (5 by-passes) and now I am fine. Dr. Mirza is taking very good care of me and watching me closely. She is a very capable doctor and I trust her to keep me in good health.
