Apparently, my negative review mysteriously disappeared so I will add it again. If I could give negative stars I would. I went to Dr Suggs for migraines when he was practicing in Decatur, AL. I was a teacher experiencing 24/7 headaches. Dr Suggs tried a few drugs with minimal effect. The headaches began in May and by July the constant headaches were excruciating. I called his office begging for any help. When he called me back, he informed me that I had used up his “bag of tricks” and that it was probably stress from my job (that I wasn’t at in June or July) and that I should perhaps see a psychiatrist. Wow. I would have been ok if he’d just come out and said that he would refer me to someone else who could possibly help me. The months of being in endless pain while attempting to work and searching for another neurologist are months I will never forget. I eventually wound up seeing an amazing neurologist in Nashville who had an endless “bag of tricks” and never gave up working with me. A physiological cause was found and she was able to treat me so that I’ve been able to teach, take students overseas….etc. Suggs may be a decent dr for conditions such as epilepsy but definitely not for migraines.

I’m writing this review on behalf my son. Dr. Suggs useless, waist of time and money. My son have been seen Dr. Suggs 4 times and still did not fix problems with my sons migraines .

The ladies at the front desk, Michelle and Tammy were so helpful! Amber, the nurse who took me back to the waiting room was great. Dr. Suggs was very thorough, considerate and has a wonderful rapport with patients.
