Dr Leong has been my primary care physician for over 15 years. She is very personable and genuinely cares about her patients. She takes her time and never rush like most doctors. I moved to Atlanta nine years ago but I still travel to Birmingham twice a year to see Dr. Leonge! I just know I can’t find a better primary care physician as caring as her anywhere.

I have seen Dr, Leong as my primary physician for 12 years, ever since I moved to Alabama. She is bar none! I trust her, we have a very good rapport, she treats me very well, and sees medicine holistically. My health has improved even though I am aging. The patient portal in her practice is great, as is the nurse practitioner, Elizabeth Fuller. I drive a long way to see her since they moved to the 119 location. Totally worth it.

She is very knowledgeable of medications. She was able to prescribe a medication that not only treats my depression but it also treats my neuropathy.

Always a pleasant experience when I see her. She’s very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to my concerns and very good to explain and answer my questions. She never makes you feel rushed, instead makes you feel like you are important to her. So grateful I found her! She’s the best!

To finish my review in short she prescribed the wrong meds for well over a yr. I literally thought I was dying& made plans.It too much pain too eat anything other applesauce ice cream.My pain level was a 13.She said I was suffering from acid reflux & she prescribed me 60mg of dexilant.I asked her twice to send to another dr. & she said I didn't need to.Then I had to call 911 that's when i had I been on the same blood pressure & the same cholesterol I said about 13 plus yrs.My new Primary Dr was notified again & I got back my life.Something is wrong with her but she is always smiling while she is killing you.My Mom died while under her care.Why? I don't no.She was always in a coma quite frequently but I could never get her to switch Dr's.

She is willing to learn about new disorders that she might not have ever heard of. She also listens to her patients and understands that it is a doctor/patient partnership. She is quite humble and admits when she doesn't know something and is willing to send her patients to specialists that would be better at the problem(s) she feels inadequate to handle. I love her very much. I stay in the Southeast because of her in spite I would do better in a colder and dryer climate.
