List of Taylor James's Reviews
I made an appointment to see Dr Taylor at Grandview after being treated by him at another location several years ago. I contacted him again because I started having some new symptoms and I previously had a good experience with him. My experience at Grandview was completely different. On my first appointment, he seemed to question all my symptoms. He ordered some tests and I spent several weeks completing one test and then being told I needed another. During this time, I was rarely able to get in touch with his office. They left messages for me to call them, with no details, then it would take me several days for someone to actually answer the office phone and explain why they called. If no one answered, and I had to leave THEM a message, it would start all over again. At one point, when I complained about them not leaving detailed messages, a nurse told me it didn't matter what my permissions or preferences were, it was not her "policy" to leave detailed messages. This was the same nurse that set an appointment for me without my knowledge. I received a text message reminder the day before the appointment that I knew nothing about. Luckily, I was able to cancel it before they charged me. After several months of tests, Dr Taylor called me and did leave a detailed message. He said all my test results were normal and since I wasn't having any symptoms (even though I still was), there was no reason for me to come back in. It appeared that Dr Taylor just wanted to drum up charges for several tests, possibly for an appointment I was not aware of, but not really treat me. I am now seeing a doctor who is actually listening to me and treating me.
Doctor is okay but seems like clinic - you are just a number - no followup, no return messages, requires multiple trips

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
