He took care of me when I was hospitalised with a blood clot on both of my lungs last year. He is very detailed and is truly concerned about his patients. He is down to earth and is extremely easy to talk to. I'm very happy that he was and still is my doctor. Besides being a great doctor he is also a good man.

Great bedside manner.

Not an aggressive cardiologist. Never proactive.Unconcerned about patients.

Dr cawthon is really a life saver! My husband Mack and daughter has been using him for a long time Mack has had heart attack’s several stints bypasses and open heart surgery. When dr cawthon couldn’t perform the type of surgery he came in hospital during procedure and not only to Checked on him but came to waiting area to check on me !!We really love this Dr. of u need a good heart Dr he’s the one to see !!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful a Dr he is and a good man he isThanks dr cawthon for every thing u have done for My family!!

Dr. Cawthon is our favorite doctor. My husband had unknown heart issues last year. Dr. Cawthon prayed with us and did the necessary procedures to see my husband back to good health. He calmed out anxiety and know he was God sent!

I went to see Dr Cawthon for a stress test referred by Dr. William Morris.. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Very nervous... Dr. Cawthon made it really easy.. I had a treadmill test and nuclear test which bothe were clear... He was very knowledgeable and helpful... his staff was great. Very helpful.. Dr. Cawthon diagnosis was angina... wasn’t sure what that was but was glad it’s nothing major. Excellent Dr. With good bedside manner..

This doctor actual put in too small a stent in my renal artery. He first denied it but eventually owned up to saying it in the operating room. I tried to tell him I was wide awake and heard him but he "Be Quiet!" I went thru torture at Baptist Hospital. He waited 2 weeks with a 60% blocked artery and by the time I got the stent it was 80% blocked and on numerous non-working bp meds. I suffer more dementia from this man for having to wait. 1 size too small and that means the risk to replace it is too much to proper size it. He actually stated to the assistant doing it with him that he wished he could flange it. A word I do not use. After I reminded him of those words he then owned up to doing the wrong size. I asked for records and it took six months to get 1 page and they told me the rest were lost in the basement. I accepted his apologies, anyone could make a mistake, the way I see it but he put off my follow up till my insurance expired but his mind was not on me only a lawsuit.

Staff and Doctor very cordial and knowledgeable. Answered all questions about tests and condition.
