William C. Woodall Iii's Online Review Report Card

Battled back pain for 20 years. Saw several chiropractors and different surgeons that wanted to do an extensive surgery. Dr. Woodall performed a procedure on me and I had instant relief. He said it would take up to a year for everything to heal and bond properly. It’s been 6 months and I wish I would have went to Dr. Woodall 20 years ago. Highly recommended!

Dr Woodall did a spinal fusion a little over 5 years ago on me. He did an excellent job then. I fell July of 2022. Tried an excellent chiropractor, but he was not able to help. I also had X-rays from my internal medicine doctor. The chiropractor recommended I go back to Dr Woodall since I had a patient doctor relationship. I am in indescribable pain. I got to see the nurse practitioner who did the normal does this hurt on my legs after I had already told her that that leg is numb down to my knee and the pain is horrible. She gave me muscle relaxers, which is like drinking water. Then said she would have them check my insurance that we have had forever to see if they would cover a CT scan or MRI. I do not know what is wrong with all of these doctors. There are a few still left that do not use nurse practitioners. They had one wheel chair they could use. I forgot my cane. My bad. Walking on concrete is horrible. My husband took me and I held on to him while I was in tears. The did get the wheel chair from one lady for me to use and then took it back. They brought it back to get me out to car. Our medical profession is severely lacking. I am not taking the muscle relaxers. I am not having muscle spasm’s. Like I said. I tried, they did no more than Motrin and extra strength Tylenol It was like drinking water. If you have real back pain find a doctor that is good and will see you. Sandi Morton

I highly recommend Dr Woodall. The staff was so friendly and helpful in getting me in quickly. Dr explained things well and I have comfort in knowing I am on the right path Dana went over and above to help as well.

Dr Woodall is the most professional and knowledgeable Dr I know. I have trusted him with three back surgeries. In all cases he was spot on with his diagnosis and the surgery corrected the issue. I hurt my back due to a career in heavy mechanical work. Dr Woodall is the only Doctor I would allow to perform the surgery. He is an excellent neurosurgeon and so easy to communicate with.

Dr. Woodall truly cares for his patients! I would recommend this office staff and Doctor to anyone who needs a great neurosurgeon! One of the best!

Dr. Woodall performed my discectomy on C5-6 and C6-7. He was amazing and always took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had.

I had experienced lower back pain for at least 13 years. Countless doctors and chiropractors with no relief. I was the end of my “wits” when a friend told me about Dr. Woodall. Since I wasn’t from Birmingham, I made the drive from St Louis and he was able to get me in for a visit and CT scan in one trip to Birmingham. Within hours and during my drive back home, Dr Woodall called to tell me that they had found an issue that could be treated with an injection of cortisone for some relief but may not be a permanent fix, or do surgery; I opted for the surgery! Several weeks later I had the procedure done and when I woke up, I could instantly notice that the pain that had plagued me for so many years was GONE!!! 29 days later, I am back flying (airline pilot). It’s been almost two years now since the surgery and still no pain! Thank you Dr Goodall for giving my life back!

Hands down best Doctor! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this Dr. If you are having back/spine issues.
