The care and compassion from Dr. Groves and staff from the wound center and MMCN has been amazing. Dealing with a severe wound isn’t just physical, it becomes mental to a certain degree when dealing with accompanying pain. I appreciate the care I have and continue to receive.

I have been using Dr Groves for several years. He has taken excellent care of me and my husband with various surgeries. He has always prayed with us before any procedure and makes sure we are comfortable with the surgery before he begins. He has always explained all procedures very well and makes sure there are no complications during the healing process.

Dr. Grove came into the room, introduced his intern, placed his hand on my Mom’s neck, and said, “Your scans look good, but let’s stick you and be sure,” then turned and started to walk out. When asked if that was it, he said, “Yep. A nurse will be in in a moment,” and left w/ his intern. Very much one of the most impersonal visits I’ve ever witnessed from a doctor. No personal touch at all. No asking my Mom how’s she feeling, what’s been going on, or anything. In and out. The nurse wasn’t much better; just came in to schedule a biopsy saying they didn’t do them at their office. We noticed the intern was back in his Instagram scrolling as we left (just as he was when we arrived). Not worth the time and effort when a simple call from his nurse would have sufficed after he read the scans. My Mom is 88 with Stage V dementia and this was a lot for her to handle. I hope this was an isolated case. The front desk was very friendly and all smiles and very professional.

Dr Groves just preformed the Overstitch procedure from my gastric bypass. He is a very caring doctor. Wonderful bedside manor. This is the third time I have had procedures that he has performed on me and I know I am in the hands of a Godly man when he is operating. His office staff are super friendly. He also makes sure that Marshall Medical South takes good care of me during my procedures. Thank you Dr Groves and staff.
