Peter Ochoa's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Ochoa is like no doctor Ive ever been to. I always felt as though I was his only patient he had to see. Never rushed. All questions answered to my satisfaction. My heart breaks that he has been dismissed from Summit Medical. I read why they dismissed him and it seems to be a fairly petty reason. A simple reprimand should have been all that was necessary. But, no. They who apparently are more saintly than he; pushed out one of Summit Medicals best doctors. Out of necessity, Ive had to find another doctor. Im old and do have to have a doctor to go to. He was, and still is, the best. God bless him. And God forgive Summit Medical for dismissing him. They knew not what they did.

Dr. Ochoa has been my doctor since 2011. I am so saddened to hear of his resignation. He was caring, he listened and he took his time. I never felt rushed during my appointments. Wherever you are Dr. Ochoa, please reach out to all of your supporters, we want to follow you. Peggy N

Dr Ochoa has been my Dr since I moved here 3 years ago. He is a caring and compassionate Dr who genuinely cares for his patients and listens to them. I was devastated to receive a message in the portal he resigned. If he ever starts a new practice I will go to him. There are no other Drs willing to listen to you like he does. There should be more Drs like him, more patients would be helped if there were.

Dr. Ochoa had been in practice four months when he became my family doctor and later became my wifes family doctor. I give him the highest rating possible and would follow him if he were in another practice locally. He is the best!

I was devastated to hear he was leaving. I wish I knew where he moved to. He was the only doctor I have ever met that I felt actually cared about my well being. I hope he is alright. Maybe only taking a sabbatical.

We credit him with not blowing off my husbands symptoms and in the end saved his life. Broken hearted he is no longer there. We would follow him if he is still in the area but have no clue where he went. We wish him all the best.

Dr. Ochoa has always been an excellent, understanding and on target caregiver. With a brief, often witty, chat.... sometimes just a glance or a touch.... he could diagnose what was going on with my health issues. Not sure whether his resignation is something needing prayer and concern or good wishes and congratulations. Just saddened to hear he is “moving on” as I would have gladly switched locations to keep him as a physician. Shocked at the somewhat terse notice and disappointed.

Thought Dr. Ochoa was an outstanding physician, and was so sorry to hear he had resigned from Internal Medicine. He had treated my wife and me for years.

Ive been his patient for many years. I had to travel 20 miles one way to get to his office in Powell. I am broken hearted that he has left Internal Med Associates. He was worth the 40 mile round trip. He was (and probably still is) kind, compassionate with a good sense of humor. Ill have to find another doctor; but Dr Ochoa cannot be replaced.
