I encourage everyone who is in need of hearing aid support, or testing, to contact Dr. Melissa Palmer at High Point Audiological in Clayton. You will not only find Dr. Palmer, and her assistant Jill, to be extremely friendly, caring, and professional individuals, you will also be provided with great medical care. While living in northern New England for many years, I believed that my annual medical hearing support was very good, and I still do. However, after moving to NC and getting a referral to see Dr. Palmer, I rate my visit and outcome as the best and most thorough I have ever experienced. I saw advanced equipment used to confirm the normal audio testing procedure that I had never seen before. In addition, the new hearing aids that were recommended for me are truly a game changer. The office staff was so friendly. They were helping two elderly folks while I was waiting for my appointment and they were so gentle and patient with them. Dr. Palmer was very informative and patient. I left with a clear understanding and all the resources I needed! Office is clean and spacious. Great audiologist!

Dr. Sikes was thorough in explaining the results of the hearing screening. She was understanding of both my parents' needs and took the time to answer any questions we had. She demonstrated how to use the technology that pairs with the hearing aids and was gentle in removing the wax build up. There is a noticeable difference in the hearing ability of my mother who has been reluctant to get hearing aids for years. My father is now wearing both hearing aids instead of just one. We are looking forward to our next visit to fit my mom's hearing aids. Thanks Dr. Sikes and to the front office staff who were very pleasant!

I visited Dr. Palmer this week to determine that I have tinnitus and some mild hearing loss. This is not the worse news but certainly not something I look forward to as I age and in my early 50’s. Dr. Palmer certainly made my first time visit a very pleasant and comfortable one. She was most informative and provided me with much information that will allow me to prepare myself for might be ahead. She was very patient and took a lot of time before, during and after the hearing exam to walk me through the process and to answer any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Palmer with High Point Audiology in Clayton.
