List of Nimish Thakore's Reviews
I spent the night in the hospital after all day in the ER. Was referred to Dr. Thakore on discharge. His resident met me 1st and gave an extremely thorough exam, and asked many questions and clarifies with me. Dr. Thakore was even more in depth. Very nice bedside manner. I was frustrated when he said he couldn't help me, but I'm being sent to the neuro ophthalmologist soon, and seeing my regular headache specialist soon. I would rather a thorough doctor say they don't know, and follow through with sending me to the experts who can help me, than someone who's overly confident and can screw things up even worse!
He did not listen to all of the information I had and gave an incorrect potential diagnosis. Partway through Shushed me. Basically told me I had 7 to 10 good years left. Told me this without doing any testing. After following up through University hospitals, got a correct diagnosis with was no where near close to what he said. My issue is as simple as aB12 deficiency not Parkinson’s. I am almost back to normal now. He completely disrupted my life as well as my husband and kids. I will never get over it.
If there was a way to rate this "doctor" less than 1 star I would. My daughter went to him based on a referral from the ER due to a bulging disc in her neck that was causing significant pain in her left arm. This "doctor" dismissed her and told her to see a psychiatrist. As did the resident that was in the office as well. There is much more to this story than can be placed here, but this "doctor" should not be allowed to be near people. He would not allow her to provide the color with her story, which has been very extensive and needed to be told. He basically treated her like she was crazy and her pain was all in her head. DESPICABLE treatment! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!!! DESPICABLE!!!!!!!
I think hes very patient n kind also helpful my thoughts are give him a chance dont just go by reviews some of the best drs have the worst reviews why because people dont like to hear the truth
My husband was seen by Dr. Thakore. Dr. Thakore was very thorough. He asked alot of questions and did many tests. Most important - Dr. Thakore was a good listener. He was very helpful in getting a correct diagnosis for my husband.
Beware! Inspite of repeated requests, he refused to order for a MRI. I consulted with him for 6 months during which my symptoms got worse. I had to fly down to India to get a MRI done which revealed a spinal tumor. Beware of this provided! If it’s a complicated case, he will refer you to psychiatry or pain management
I was sent to him by the appointment person. After I told him what was going on he was very dismissive. He kept saying that I should have seen another doctor. I told him repeatedly that the appointment line sent me to him. He then told me that this just goes along with back pain and I should just see a pain doctor to get a shot. I told him repeatedly that this was new symptoms and pain and I want to know the cause not just mask it by a shot. After being told that the specialist copay is $80 I broke down crying. The lady at the desk was very kind and said she will write an email and try to get the charge off. The staff were wonderful ...he not so much

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
