Long wait to see doctor after being taken back to exam room and I was only patient there....20 minutes.Doctor didn't answer my questions.
Absolutely a gem of a doctor. Not only does he have a wisdom in the market place that is second to none, his thoughtful care with each patient to make them feel comfortable is second to none. I have seen him, my daughter has seen him, my two sons have seen him. Could not be more pleased with his ability to calm an 11 year old with a broke arm all the way to making a 36 year old not feel like an idiot for doing something really dumb (i.e. me when i try to show off). recommend, recommend, recommend!
I was told dr mccain was a great dr but i didnt get a chance to find out. He was recommended to me i have been in severe pain for a couple of week and i made an appt with him never was i told if i didnt have records in hand that i wouldnt be seen. When i get to my appt i was told that i couldnt be seen and i would have to reschedule i asked if i could have them faxed and lady told me unless they were faxed before i sae dr that he wouldnt see me. She acted like i was interupting her day. I would have loved to find out if he was as good as ive heard but after that first impression ill go hack to the dr i was seeing. Patty singleton
I called trying to see if they were a trama orthopedic? The lady laughed and said umm it a orthopedic! She was so rude and dismissive, I’m already in pain I don’t need to be dismissed horrible service. A 3 sec phone call and I’m this turned off, I couldn’t imagine trusting them with my future
Dr. McCain is a great doctor who loves his patients! We would go no where else.
Dr. McCain has taken care of me for many years and I like him very much. He is conservative in his approach, which also I like very much. He is usually able to see me quickly if something comes up suddenly and his office staff is very nice and efficient. I recently had a total knee replacement, which he does not do, but his staff was very timely in getting my records transfered to the surgeon who did the work.
Would not go to him again, even though the surgeries went well. He discounts what his patient has to say, which caused me several additional weeks of unnecessary pain before a 2nd surgery. And, apparently, I'm not the only patient whom he has chronically undermedicated for pain. Good surgeon but mediocre doctor. Much too fond of his own opinion.
Amazing doctor and wonderful staff!!!
Dr.McCain is one of the best surgeons in Columbia. He did a CT release on me Tuesday and by Friday the soreness was gone I could wiggle all my fingers. He has the greatest bedside manners.I thank God he sent this angel to operate on me. He will be my only orthopedic Surgeon!! He also has a wonderful staff together they are the greatest team!!! Thank you!!
Amazing doctor, incredibly understanding, a great educator. You are not just a patient with this man, you are a human being. Would highly recommend him

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
