1 year ago, I could barely walk. After 5 years of being boggled around one of the St Louis health systems with no proper diagnosis or treatment plan, I made the drive out to Columbia to see Dr Meyer. He immediately knew what the issue was (severe spondylolisthesis). My back was to a point where major surgery would be needed, and 1 year ago, I had an anterior spinal fusion. Within less than 9 months I was back in the gym. Dr Meyers and his staff are always very friendly and do a great job of setting expectations. The overall experience has been incredible, from office visits, surgery, & after care. … quite literally life-changing!! I thought I’d just have to be in pain for the rest of my life. If you are struggling to get good care, don’t wait 5 years to make the call to Dr Meyer’s office!

I want to share my experience about Dr. Meyer and his staff at Columbia orthopedic group. I had a very complicated back with scoliosis and nerve compression on three levels. I had so much pain that every day was a struggle just to keep up with my daily activities. I am a cyclist and try to ride 20 miles a day when weather permits. I would like to say that Dr. Meyer gave me my life back after having a two level fusion with screws and one rod, I have no more pain and thankfully I’m back on the road and my bike again. I know back surgery is scary and you need to choose the right surgeon. Look no further… Dr. Meyer is everything that you need. I also want to mention his PA Lauren who gave me the courage to go ahead with the surgery when I was very uncertain. Five stars for these folks

Dr Meyer listened carefully to my concerns and previous history. I appreciated the fact that he was not judgmental, but compassionate. Despite the issues assured me he would help find the seed of the problem and he me the treatment most appropriate and best interest for future good health and mobility!
