De. Goel did lasik sirgery on both eyes yesterday and I'm in for my check up and less than 24 hours later, I'm at 20/20 vision!  Awesome outcome. They worked with me even when there was a delay in my arrival.  Very happy I chose to have Goel Vision do this procedure for  me.

Best Doctor ever. His staff is amazing too. Dr. Goel walks you through the whole thing. I was scared at first but it was very fast and easy procedure. He answered all my questions and concerns, before and after the surgery. Post opt was easy and you are well informed on what you need to do for prompt healing.

I was nearsighted with a severe astigmatism and decided to have LASIK surgery. My boss suggested I see Dr. Goel for the SMILE procedure first as he thought I was likely a good candidate. Dr. Goel examined my eyes, determined I was a good candidate for the SMILE procedure, and just over a week later I had the procedure performed. I was in the office for a recheck 6 days after that and my vision is 20/15. I have never been able to see this well (in my entire life). It's astonishing to me quite frankly. I wish I had had this procedure done sooner. Dr. Goel and his staff are efficient, kind, and reassuring. I cannot express how grateful I am to him and his staff and I cannot recommend him highly enough. My actual surgery appointment was at 10a and I arrived early (because I was nervous) and he saw me early (and did a second complete eye exam to be thorough, which was reassuring to me) and the entire procedure was complete at by 10a. It doesn't get more efficient than that!

I am so thrilled with my recent SMILE procedure! I've thought about having my vision corrected for about 2 years and finally called Dr. Goel's office. I spoke with Crystal about the new SMILE procedure and knew that it was going to be a great choice for me. She educated me on the procedure and told me about the minimal down time which was a huge factor in my decision. Dr Goel did a great job and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.  I had Lasik done and he went out of his way to ensure my safety and that the procedure was successful.  Painless and amazing recovery time. My vision is back to what it was in college again.  Thanks Sonny!!!

When I started researching different surgeries I noticed that SMILE had a lot of benefits over PRK and Lasik. But I couldn't find anywhere near DC that did SMILE. Then a friend highly recommended Dr Goel and I noticed that he had a lot of experience with the SMILE procedure (and basically all eye surgeries).  The Dr and his staff were extremely kind, flexible, and patient. They carefully explained everything and didn't make me feel pressured to do the surgery at all. Appointments were timely and I never waited more than five minutes to be seen. The surgery itself, I have to say, was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced. Seriously - It's not every day you sit beneath a half-million-dollar femtosecond laser. That's not to say I didn't feel anxious walking in, but Dr Goel and his staff talked me through the whole thing and I never once felt nervous or uncomfortable. I barely felt a thing. They even let you pick the music in the operating room. Dr Goel called to check in on my later that evening, and I could already see really well. I had a check up a little over 24 hours after my surgery, and I was easily reaching 20/15 with still more space to improve! I would 10/10 recommend this place.

Dr. Goel and his staff provided service par excellence. I am a military aviator, combat athlete, and participate in everything from scuba and skydiving, to bowhunting and night land navigation. My eyes are an essential part of my everyday activities and lifestyle. I was reluctant to get LASIK because of the corneal flap and all of the risks it presents with my lifestyle. Finding Dr. Goel and his SMILE Lasik procedure has been one of the best investments I've ever made in my life and it has only been 5 days since my hardware upgrade. Spending several years of my life reading books and typing papers on my laptop have caused my eyes to adapt to the stress and strain; however, Dr. Goel's flawless execution of my procedure have put me back in the game--and made me evolutionarily more adaptive to my environment.
