They will drop you as a patient if you don't go for awhile.   So if you don't get sick often,  this is not the place for you.

Dr. Bishop has been my doctor for 27 year the best I ever had I drive 50 to get treated the staff is wonderful and he is a great physician

Every comment about the staff up front is correct. I normally dont say anything but when I'm sick and you're being a witch I in turn will be a witch. They are so awful that I dont even want to go in and see the doctor. I have received faster better and "more pleasant" care from urgent care across the street. These 2women everyone deals with up front should get their attitudes adjusted or they will watch ALL their patients leave! I cant say much more about the doctors there either. Smith is good but everyone else also sucks. In and out no patient care. The WORST doctors office on the Eastern shore. AMERICAN FAMILY CARE is where i go now.

I used a doctor in Mobile for years, but she go a little older and did not want to do the things she did for me previously, and she moved around a lot. I looked around for a doctor for years, and I finally settled on Dr. Johnson at this facility. I have never regretted on minute of my time here. First, the ladies who run the office are prompt, professional, and courteous. I call them for a visit, and they find a way to make it happen. Then, I go into the office, and I never wait more than 10 minutes see the nurses and doctors, which is very convenient because my time is as important to me as theirs is to them. Next, Dr. Johnson comes in and is a professional with a good heart, a great sense of humor, and a huge amount of medical skills and manners. We joke and chat while he asks me about my family and my condition. Recently, I went in to have my ears cleaned, and it was done with the ultimate in care, concern and proficiency. I see people complain on this page about these guys and gals, but I have never seen any of the problems they mention in their gripes. I recommend this practice to any and everyone and do so without hesitation. I love this group, these people, and these offices. If you need a medical group, look no further.Jon

I see Dr. Amy Kayl. She is absolutely amazing. She listens to my concerns and takes her time while she is with me. I have never felt rushed.The front desk clerks do have an attitude most of the time. That is the only reason why I am leaving a 4 start review. If their attitudes were corrected, I would have given it 5 starts.

Dr. Amanda Robinson is Excellent.

I love Dr. Amanda Robinson and  her Medical Assistant, GiGi. The whole office is wonderful. I feel totally at home there and am truly grateful to them. If I request a prescription refill on the app for the office, I always here from them that day.  Once, I had a bladder infection, and it was Dr. Robinson's day off, but they got me right in with another Physician that day. Dr. Robinson is the best, she is easy to  talk to her and she and staff has always showed me respect. They are caring and give you superb treatment. I would hesitate them to anyone. I am so grateful to have found this practice.Renae' T

We have used Dr. MacLaughlin for several years.  He is a very good doctor.  He is very attentive to his patients.  He is thorough with his examination and questions.  He always tries to get to the bottom of the cause of your health issues.  He will send you to a specialist if he thinks you need to see another doctor.

The only problem associated with facility is the lack of getting in touch with the office during their extended lunch break. When a situation comes up regarding an appointment at another office initiated by the Family Practice and then get a call indicating your insurance will not cover the procedure; returning a call to Family Practice during lunch is futile. Forty-five minutes later after several calls to our insurance company and other contacts, we finally got the approval. Only Family Practice could change the code for the procedure which was coded in wrong initially. Made our appointment with five minutes to spare. Could have been resolved sooner if there was someone to cover situations like this at lunch.

We love Dr. Smith. He always takes a lot of time to make sure that he understands what is going on and you understand what is going on.
