Very rude and in a rush. I think he spent about 1 minute with me. Will never go back to him.
This doctor is a total jerk He will never get close to my heart again
I think Dr Basu is a very good Doctor. I have never had any trouble with him since the first day he saw me in the hospital. I have been going to him now for quite a number of years, he's polite, and has always been nice to me. As long as he's my doctor I'll be going to him. I have nothing bad to say about Dr Basu.
Basu was obvious in a rush to go home. My appointment was later in the day and he came in the room for about 3 seconds, left my room and I waited a long time for him to come back. I looked out my door and saw him talking on the phone. After what seemed like forever, his nurse came in and told me to schedule for a test. I went out to the window to pay and schedule for the test he wanted and who comes up the hall putting his jacket on? Basu! He didn't say a word to me, just rushed past me! After my test, he never followed up with me! So I had the results sent to a Huntsville doctor. Ended up having an aneurysm! Horrible doctor! Don't go to him!
Accounting staff (billing) could not explain charges other than to say if not paid the would be turned over to collection. Huntsville hospital had removed charges performed by Dr Basu as the insurance had ruled not required. Knowledge of staff - POOR.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
