Was not interested in past history which included two spinal surgeries (one cervical fusion). Interested only in recent L2-S1 Spinal Fusion with continued pain. He immediately said I would have to come off several medications (which is related to past surgical/history) and has taken years to perfect. I essentially walked out as my spirit was broken by a man who chastised me and told me I would live in pain the rest of my life. How well I know after three spinal surgeries! He was preaching to the choir! I don’t feel Dr. Evans had the slightest bit of compassion to listen to why my Neurosurgeon made the referral in the first place. I will NEVER recommend this man nor this Pain Center to anyone. I would return to Birmingham (once I’m able to ride).

My second visit to Mr.Evans went just as good as my first time.I do get relieve from the epidural I get.Thanks to my insurance company I can't use him anymore.Thanks

Had me jump through hoops going to physical therapy, giving spinal injections... months later after doing everything required he told me because I'm a smoker , he wouldn't be prescribing pain medication
