Two Thumbs Up!
Great Doctor !
Waited 1 1/2 hours for this guy. He wasn't interested, not prepared and his office management is a disgrace. You have to go through 3 people before he presents himself and right out of his mouth "what can I do for you" .... save you time and $$ - go to a real doctor.
I have been a patient for more than 5 years. He has been very thorough and thoughtful at every encounter. His staff follows-up, as appropriate. I recently needed an appointment quickly, and they were able to work me in within 24 hours, which is great for a specialist! If you are looking for a doctor to joke around with, perhaps you should keep looking; if you are looking for a physician that provides great care, then I highly recommend Dr. Crittenden!
I was having problems with swallowing and scared to go to the doctor. But Dr. Crittenden had been very kind to my mother and so I went to see him. He was very nice, found a slight stricture in my esophagus. He also found an ulcer I did not even know about because I had no symptoms and helped me. He even showed me photos of what he saw and worked on. He also helped my wife understand my conditions.
I was referred to Dr. Crittenden because of pain in my upper right abdomen. He ran 0 test to find out whathe the problem was and diagnosed me as having a cracked rib...EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY HAD 2 DIFFERENT DOCTORS SAY IT WAS NOT A CRACKED RIB. The other Doctor was really concerned about it being my gallbladder. Definitely would not recommend.
Very capable, honest and direct. He is very concerned about his patients. I highly recommend this Dr.. He has a serious personality, and that is what I want.
The appointment was a 1st...Had to wait 1 hr to see this doctor. He walks in start to talk, didn't know what exactly what we had been diagnosed with (even though it was in my file) and begin to say "you can end up getting your colon chopped off and you will have to , wear a bag...No tact!
I guess the most dissapointment came when I was given medicine with no explanation what it is for. When I finished my visit with the doctor who didn't really show any interest in my welbeing, I was rushed to the registration office where my next appointment for services had to be made, and the clerk asked me about the prescription. This was the first time I was aware I was prescribed something. When I asked her what it is for, she left and had to look for someone to get that info. I will not be back to see this doctor.
For several months now I have been suffering from symptoms that are verry simular to a diseas that my mother has. Long story short, Dr. Crittenden wasn't even interested in testing me for this disorder. He kept repeating "You are healthy on paper". Meaning that the blood test that they did do (not the ones for what I think I might have) came back borderline normal. When I asked him if I could pay out of pocket for the test just to ease my mind his responce was "I refuse to order the test. You just have IBS." I waited 2 hours to spend minuites with a person that didn't even want to listen to my overal symptoms. When I started talking about the dizzeyness, he would interrupt me and say "Just tell me about your GI problems, not all your symptoms". I will never darken the door of this Dr. again!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
