Total professional. Performed several colonoscopies over several years to ensure polyps did not return. A concern was my sister died from colon cancer although having a colonoscopy performed in Baton Rouge just 3 years prior. Dr Tarwater is very thorough and a very caring, friendly person.

Dr. Tarwater has been my gastro doctor for over a decade, my mother travels from Oklahoma to visit him. I have never been turned away when I needed help.

Like most doctor visits, time with the doctor is short. However, his staff was professional and thorough. They also listened to me regarding my concerns. Dr. Tarwater was professional and asked pertinent questions to better understand what I had going on. The procedures went well. Practices with extreme arrogance and it shows. Tries to impress his staff at the expense of embarrassing his patient, how ridiculous is that. Very rude in conversation. Wants all eyes on himself and how great he is. Not! Will not speak to those he comes in contact with in public. I'm not impressed at all by Dr. Tarwater.

Recently had the pleasure of meeting and observing this great man. Very professional, caring, knowledgeable and considerate! Caring for a family member and praise God for this man. Flowers Hospital and the Wiregrass is fortunate and blessed to have a Doctor like this. Words cannot Express this guys character. Thank you Dr. Sam. We love you !!
