I have had several procedures performed by Dr. Rutland over the last few years and all have gone exactly as he described. I have never had a doctor take as much time explaining what to expect before, during and after the procedure. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Rutland to anyone looking for a Gastroenterologist.

Dr. Rutland did an excellent job listening to my issues and suggesting a course of treatment. Quickly scheduled and completed my required procedure. Finally some long term relief from my hemorrhoids as well as him now having my GERD completely under control with medication. Very grateful for Dr. Rutland and his staff. Thanks

Dr. Rutland has been my doctor for several years and I can not imaging ever seeing anyone else. He has done several procedures on me and everything has gone exactly as expected. In my opinion he is an excellent communicator and really cares for his patients. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a Gastroenterologist.

This provider plays "funny stuff" with coding procedures. What SHOULD Be a routine procedure with a very low or NO Co-PAY, this provide will PUMP UP the Coding so that the Co-PAY for the patient goes through the ROOF. Unless you are in the habit of writing blank checks. One would be better off in finding a different provider. TRUST ONCE BROKEN is NEVER REGAINED.

Lousy with performing within a patient's expectations. He will say this will be "routine" which the insurance company says is fine. But then he will "code" the procedure for something which will PUMP UP the COST to the PATIENT. The CO-PAYS go sky high. Unbeknownst to the patient. Then the PATIENT gets a big surprise in the mail. He is manifestly a PUMP AND DUMP PHYSICIAN without regard to the patient's health, or financial expectations. As such, these types of people are untrustworthy. They play a "shell game" with the coding procedures. If the expectations had been exposed PRIOR to the procedures, this review could have been much different. But if one find it problematic to write blank checks. Then I would suggest finding someone else as a provider.

Dr. Rutland has been my doctor for 7 years and I don’t trust anyone else but him. He listens to my needs and accommodate to my needs and well being . I was pretty sick and lost a lot weight and he slowly gradually nurse me back to health.
