Rowell Ashford Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Asford is an amazing, thoughtful and compassionate doctor. He's so wonderful that i kept getting pregnant just to go back to him????????Just kidding but I have birthed 5 healthy children under his care.

Dr. Ashford is an amazing Dr. He is very patient, takes time to go over every detail concerning your health and treatment. He made me feel welcome from my very first appointment and did an AMAZING job on my surgery. He came around everyday that I was in the hospital and was not in a rush to leave like most doctors, he answered all of my questions and made sure I was physically ready to go home before he discharged me. I would recommend him to anyone needing a GREAT OBGYN!!!

If I could have done this review without giving any stars, I would have. Dr. Ashford has been my gynecologist for more than 10 years, so needless to say, I trusted him. He performed a surgery on me that in turned almost took my life, because he continued to diagnose me inaccurately from the pain I was having after the surgery. I ended up with sepsis, diverticulitis, and an ostomy bag. I have never had any marks on my body, not even my stomach, but after Dr. Ashford's surgery, my stomach looks like a train track with connect the dots around it. This sent me into a depressed state. I have to see this every day when I look at myself. After which he had no remorse or concern for. He was always nice until he did something wrong. He acts as if he is some type of god with people lives in his hand. But, everyone has to answer to THE MOST HIGH GOD!! I would definitely not refer my worst enemy, let along family, friends, or associates to him or cahaba medical. Even after I did my grievance report concerning this issue, and was notified that his attorneys told him to contact me, to this day, nothing has been done, and, no one from cahaba medical has contacted me since, because they don't care either.

Dr.Ashford is amazing I had a minor surgery and had a little issue that he quickly corrected I have never met a doctor that makes there patient comfortable about discussing anything with him. Your quick reaction today to my health issue was amazing I thank you and I will request to continue to see you as my primary doctor...thank you!

I love dr Ashford, he did a c-section on me in 2014 and he made sure I was okay I didn't have any problems with him at Princeton hospital at all he is very kind understanding and loving he care about all his patients he's not like other people in hospitals that doesn't care he really cares about his patients I would recommend Dr Ashford to anyone. I recently just had a C-section at UAB Hospital and I really wish I would have went back to dr. Ashford because UAB Hospital did not do me right at all I supposed to get a C-section and my tubes tied instead they did a C-section and close me up and they recut me back open and did a hysterectomy on me so now I don't have a uterus my body has not been right every since I constantly hurt I'm constantly in pain I just wish I had my normal body back I had my daughter December 26th 2018 my body should at least feel better by now I'm unable to make a normal bowel movement and I barely can make a urine sample it hurts my back throbs every single day I don't recommend UAB to no one they changed they're not the same they don't care like they used to and it's not all of the nurses and doctors its majority of them, its sad when I was there even the room service was weak I practically begged them for water. I just recently changed my doctor back to Dr Ashford I know with him at least he cares about his people and he will help do anything he can to solve the problem

Doc Ashford is AWESOME..... So caring and professional not only with patients but with his staff and students as well.... Mrs. Danetta is AWESOME as well.... So reassuring and careful while doing the ultrasound... Wait times are a little longer than I would like but he has alot of patients and spends time responding to needs at the hospital as well

The secretary at the front desk is very rude and has bad phone skills she should have been let go.Dr. Ashford is very nice and very professional

I have been with this Doctor for 6 yrs. Dr. Ashford and his staff are an awesome team!!

I had 3 surgery by Dr.Ashford he is the best ..I will definitely refer him to my family and friends if needed..great job Doc.
