Tried to make appointments for my 3 children at Dr Whittaker's office.... We do not immunize our children do to medical reasons and they refused to see my kids because we do not immunize.... Someone like this should be ashamed of themselves... Don't go to this Dr... No child should be shunned because they don't respond well to vaccines... Also they should not be able to turn children away just because they don't have vaccines... Boycott this office and take your children somewhere else...

Hands down the worst experience of my life dr Whitaker treated my daughter with special needs so poorly said that she was crazy and while in a fit without permission or cause bc she wasn’t hitting at him and I was handling the situation grabbed her roughly by the arm and held her down while she was screaming and crying in fear!! We will NEVER go back to this office I highly recommend you don’t either

The blanket refusal of many physicians , including Whitaker R Daniel MD, to see patients with Medicaid is unjust.. When I called the office I stated my name and asked for an appointment for my daughter she’s running a 102.7 temp for five days. The first question the desk clerk asked me was “ what type of insurance did my daughter have. I replied with Medicaid. Then I was promptly told that they have no appointments go to the emergency room. I was never asked “ what would the dr be seeing my child for?” This has happened to my daughter and I on more than one occasion. Medicaid patients receive unequal treatment compared to individuals utilizing private insurance because of their lack of access to the same quality providers willing to accept them.
