She is an excellent doctor. I spent two hours with her my first visit.She was very caring and want to know about my personal, health, and mental health. I was very well please with visiting with her and have made her my primary care doctor.

She is absolutely wonderful. She sat with me during the first appointment and got to know me one on one and talked to me in detail about my medicines and my medical history. She has a wonderful bedside manor.

Had trouble finding a doctor that was taking new patients. But found a very special one. Such a wonderful caring doctor that is hard to find today. Truly believes in the doctor patient relationship.and working together.

She is PHENOMENAL!!! Very caring, kind, patient, and understanding!!! She took her time and actually listened to what I had to say, instead of the typical nod and mmhmm that you may get from some. I’m looking forward to many years of visits with her!!!

It was a real pleasure to meet Dr. Bortmas-Shamaa! She is thorough, very knowledgeable, and totally approachable. She is passionate about her work and believes that in order to provide the best healthcare for her patients, there must be a true, honest, give-and-take relationship with her patients. I am pleased beyond measure to have her as my new primary care healthcare provider!
