She performed my vasectomy. This is a procedure that I was highly worried about and had been putting off for 5 years, due to fear/anxiety/worry. Dr. Bailey was amazing. I would highly recommend her. She was kind, efficient, empathetic, and excellent. She listened to my concerns, formulated a plan, and executed with better than I had ever assumed possible precision.

I just had my cystoscopy done at Fairhope Urology with Dr. Bailey. That was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor... (Dr. Bailey) told me it was PROBABLY interstitial cystitis...(without accurate testing done.) She said I had a healthy young bladder. (This was on a good day. No signs on inflammation.) The procedure itself wasn't bad at all, it was in and out. But the conversation I had with her was awful, I ended up crying because I was upset and the way she spoke to me. (She told me I was emotionally distraught and needed therapy - INDEED I DO! Because Doctors like her are a dime a dozen, I've been to 3 of them! Doctors like her are are apathetic, view you as a number and not a person, wants you in and out of her office, reluctant to order accurate testing, quick to give a broad diagnosis.) I was so down and out after being sick for a year and a half and not having adequate care. I told her some of my symptoms and kept getting interrupted with remarks like, "you

Dr. Bailey was very rushed, not forthcoming with information, dismissive and certain comments were insulting to me. She appeared irritated and recommended counseling while I sat there in pain. I can not recommend this physician. After sharing this information with co-workers I had two say the same thing about the same physician. I will not recommend Fairhope Urology. A one star rating is too many for this physician. Human kindness and gentle words go a long way to help heal someone's spirit. She may be smart, but she is very unkind and disinterested in people who are in pain.

I had a bad experience. I won't return.
