Love Dr.Richards and his team, by far the best doctor I've EVER had. His nurses give shots you can't even feel. I've referred several friends to him as well- And a lot of my family sees him...Would not use anyone else but Dr. Richards he's the best...

Dr. Richards really takes time with me, and doesn't try to push me out of the door like most Physicians. Matt listens to me as well when I have an issue, and if he is unsure about something he will consult with Dr. Richards to reach a diagnosis.

I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient and was told that I would be sent paperwork to fill out and when I returned it, I would be scheduled an appointment. After not receiving any paperwork for a week, I called and again and was told I could schedule an appointment and the would mail me the initial paperwork to fill out and return. I got an appointment 2 and half weeks out. I did get the paperwork in the mail, this time around, completed and returned it. I arrived prior to my appointment time and was checked in by one of the receptionists. I was told to have a seat and I would be called. About 45 minutes later, a lady came and called me to go back to a room. She tried to take my medical history but didn't understand half the surgical procedures I had previously and instead of having my folder, which contained the 12 pages of intake documents and a separate medical history document, which I keep in word and pfd format on my home pc, she had a smeared photocopy of one pa

He cares about his patients and makes them feel safe and secure. He worked with me until he properly treated the issue. I recommend him to everyone and even his NP Mathew King is amazing. I am so glad the Shoals has these two men in this community! They by far have went above and beyond!

Dr Richards is amazing!! He's got the best bedside manner of any Dr I've seen. He will make you laugh when you want to cry and he truly cares about his patients. I drive 35 mins just to see him.

I have known Dr. Richards for five years. My wife and I provided care for my ageing Mother for 3 years. She was moved from an assisted living center in Durham, NC to Tuscumbia, AL. We chose Dr. Richards after asking around for bright, young Drs. that might be knowledgable in Geriatrics/Dementia areas. He is smart, personable and will take the appropriate time to convey his diagnosis and treatment plan. He is now my primary care physician. The office at the Keller complex is well run and friendly. I feel comfortable recommending him and his staff to anyone for any primary or extended care situation.

I didn't get past the scheduling hurdle. Was recommended to Dr Richards by Helen Keller ER - tried to set up appointment with him. First call administrator said it would be two weeks or more for an appointment. Told her it was emergency and asked if there was any possibility of a quicker appointment. She said she would call back that afternoon - no call. Waited most of the next day with no call and called again only to find out the office for appointment scheduling had closed. Still waiting
