David Bachofer's Online Review Report Card

“I am lion; hear me roar.” When my doctor of 10 years retired in March of 2022, I asked to be seen by Dr. Bachofer (in the same practice). I love and respect this clinic’s minimal patient wait time and am very aware of how it is achieved. They do not over-book appointments and do not tolerate missed appointments. I have never missed a scheduled appointment. I sought treatment for elevated blood pressure in September and was told to come back soon to make sure the new dose was working. That very week my father was admitted to the hospital and did not leave. He passed away on November 2, 2022. I was my dad’s sole caretaker. I received a letter from the clinic dated December 1, 2022 dismissing me due to lack of doctor/patient relationship. After 10 years of a perfect doctor/patient relationship, I am dismissed for not going to see Bachofer to have my blood pressure checked. After 10 years of always making and keeping appointments as directed, I would think a doctor so concerned with my health would find my so-called lack of doctor/patient relationship a little concerning. Maybe after 10 years, out of concern, he would send a form letter to inquire as to why the sudden lack of effort on my part to consult his all-knowing majesty. I want a doctor who spends his time continuing to learn and grow in the practice of medicine instead of trying to convince people he is all-knowing.

I have found the doctor and staff to be very responsive and caring.

After being a patient for over 10 years of David's, I called for an appointment and was told that I had received a certified letter informing me that I had been dropped from his patients roll. I had never heard of a doctors office ever doing this in my life, and I'm over retirement age. I do see in the reviews that this is a common practice for this office, and I use the word "common" literally. It is sad state of affairs when the lady that was in her 80's and others who are in advanced stages of age is treated this way by someone who took an oath to do the opposite as they do. I was finally told by a person in his office that the reason was that " I didn't come often enough"?? I am certain that there are professionals out there who put compassion and decency for their job before their bank account. I had one before this one, and I will find another one.

I have been coming to him for over 2 years and hes always been so caring and understanding to my needs. I can count on him to get me back on my right path to feeling better. Mrs. Bridget is also so caring. I love them!! They are the best doctor and nurses I have ever been to. Thank yall so much

I use to go here and his care for diabetic patients is so sad, it's like did he even go to Collage to learn about how to care for his patients? He never knows what he talks about and I had to go to a different Dr. for better care where they helped me get on more medication. The wait time here is also very long, don't be 2 minutes late they'll make you sit in the lobby and wait for over an hour.

When I went to him and was a little late (not in my control) he made me wait 2 hours and made me late for my job. I'm BLACK and his staff never greets me with a smile, I'm always soo sweet, shy and quiet but I ALWAYS smile at everyone and say hi, they always greet me with the driest personality..oh wait! They don't have a personality, they're just stuck up snobby White women that treat their clients like they're nothing. Dr. BARFer has a reputation for being a racist and kicking people out of this client list, it even happened to someone I've met and they were dropped without warning, he's a disgusting Dr. and will run across the right client someday who will tell him about himself. I will never come here again! Waste of money and time, he's fake, his staff is fake.

My mother has been a patient of DR. Bachofer for over 20 years. And was told on March 11, 2019 he would no longer see her anymore. She’s in her 80’s with COPD and other issues. They will not give her any reason why. She’s always paid her bills in full with them and thought he was a wonderful dr. So I ask how can a Dr. just do this or why would a Dr. just do this. Now my mother is left with no Dr. or anything and has to start over again with all her debilitating health issues. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU DR. BACHOFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband & I have been patients's of Dr. Bs for years. I must say I'm upset to see some of these reviews where he is portrayed as rude, unprofessional and incompetent! This is so out of character from what we experience during our monthly office visits. He's never been anything but kind and caring with us and even asks about and remembers our adult daughter's name. He's diagnosed my husband's thyroid issue and prescribed medication. A year later, I also developed a thyroid condition (not the same) that he discovered while insisting annual bloodwork panels be run. My hyperthyroidism was so bad, he immediately referred me to an endo specialist & even offered to call them that day if I wanted. This type of care is what we enjoy & what we've come to expect. We'll just stay out right where we are, thank you! :)

Dr Bachofer on March 11, 2019 informed my mother of 80 years that he would no longer see her as a patient. My mother has very serious health issues including COPD on permanent oxygen. They refuse to give her any explanation or reason. I don’t understand how a dr can just do that to a patient after all he’s treated her for throughout the last 20plus years. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU!!!!!! I guess the oath you took means nothing. Now she is struggling to find a new Dr. soon before her meds run out.

I first went to him when I was diagnosed with diabetes, the only thing he did was take me off of insulin and give me sugar pills, after I left him about a year later a new Dr. I went to was upset saying I needed better care and better medication. His staff has rude attitudes and when I was late ONE TIME he made me wait over an hour. He dropped people from his care over the smallest things. When I saw him it's like he didn't care it felt like a 2 minute session, no blood work no nothing.
