List of Edsel Holden's Reviews
Mom is always having to wait at least 2 hours for her appointments. For elderly folks that cant sit for long periods of time this is atrocious. The office staff especially front desk isnt friendly and doesn't answer questions regarding schedule or wait times. This time they didn't have enough seats in the waiting area to accommodate folks and the seating outside was full and seating in downstairs lobby has been removed ao those traveling with patients have no where to sit and wait. I have taken my mother to see this Doctor 3 tines and have had to wait at least a minimum of 1 hour and a half. it is 2:06 now and a patient with a 1:15 appt is still waiting for her appt. He may be a friendly doctor but he and his staff need to be more respectful of patients time also. We dont get to charge a late fee or get reimbursed for ling waits.
Dr Holden is the best I recommend him as highly as possible.
Dr schedules 20 appts in an hour. I waited 30 min and there were still 12 people ahead of me who had been there over an hour. No Dr is worth wasting my time.
Dr. Holden is extremely nice and compassionate. Very few doctors are as conscientious as he. I trust him a lot!
Dr. Holden is ok. But his nurse, Shirley, is so rude and condescending that I have been searching for another doctor. It doesn't matter how nice you try to be to her, she talks as if she doesn't like anyone. And the one that answers the phone is almost as bad
Dr Holden is great and the staff was also great would recommend to anyone
Appointment was scheduled at 1:15. I asked about a long wait (due to reading previous reviews) when making the appointment & was told as new patients, we were given the earliest appointment time in order to keep from the long waits. Was told the long waits are due to the Dr. spending so much time and care with each patient. We waited nearly THREE HOURS as a new patient & when the dr did show up, he was very hurried. Daughter was in tears as she felt (& I fully agree) she was not being heard (listened to). What a waste of time & money!! So angry! Previous reviews were great & horrible, no in between. Unfortunately we received the bad experience side.
24 hours later my family member is still waiting on a prescription she was supposed to start last night. Nurse practioner is useless!
Dr. Holden is a great doctor. However, the front desk asked for money, stating it was for Medicare deductible. I paid the amount they stated. This was early February. Middle of April, I received a bill from another physician’s office stating I owed a Medicare deductible. After investigating, I found that doctor Holden’s office only applied 20 something dollars to the Medicare deductible and credited the remaining amount to my account. Legally they can’t hold my money without paying interest. Has anyone else encountered this problem with the office?
Doctor is great but the support staff is not. On hold for 20 minutes to try to cancel an appointment. The lady never cared or came back to the line. Doctor gets a 5 but the staff brings the whole experience down to a 2.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
