List of MItcheal Bowen's Reviews
Very very unprofessional!!!! Worst doctor and talks to people like garbage!! Do not recommend!! Nurse Cindy is also the same!
We've been Dr. Bowen patients since 2019. To put it shortly: he knows, and he really cares. His nurse Cindy is also great. We're lucky we made the right choice four years ago.
We've been Dr. Bowen patients since 2019. He is a really knowledgeable and experienced professional. Plus, he really cares about patients. His nurse Cindy is very good too.
We moved to Florence from Kansas four years ago where we had a great family physician. We were worried we wouldn't be able to find a doctor who would provide with the same quality of care here. So, we read some reviews and decided to try it with Dr. Mitch Bowen. No regrets ever since. He has both knowledge and experience, and he also truly cares about his patients. The same could be said about his ...
I’ve been seeing Dr Bowen for several years. He is thorough and makes good referrals. He listened to me but also educated me. Dr Bowen and his nurse Cindy are always helpful.
If he is not sure what you have he will simply invent a disease or condition. Joke of a doctor. He should have retired decades ago.
I am beyond frustrated with my last visit. I went to Dr. Bowen in February because I was fatigued, having brain fog, concentration issues, brittle nails, dry skin, and just felt badly all around. He suggested that I needed an anti-depressant and gave me grief when I said I wanted a full blood panel done. He said, "We did this last year." As if blood work cannot change after a year?! He did run the blood work but did not check my D, B-12, or Iron which can particularly be an issue for vegetarian women who menstruate. I decided to get a new doctor, Dr. de la Rosa. Turns out I had slightly low vitamin D and B12 and VERY low iron. Every single symptom I was having was a symptom of low iron. On top of the complete negligence and condescension, I could hear Dr. Bowen talking badly about the patient prior to me and about my diagnostic requests as he was right outside my exam room. If you want a doctor who will completely disregard you and will just placate you by prescribing you unnecessary drugs, 100% go see Dr. Bowen. If you want a doctor who is not a complete idiot and a jerk, please put some effort into finding a different doctor.
If you are an older woman do not waste your time with this doctor. He was rude, condescending, and treated me like I was a hypochondriac, even though it was the first time I had been to a doctor in three years. I ended up just leaving. I went up front told the receptionist that I didn’t care for Dr. Bowen at all, that I would pay the copayment for the office visit but I was leaving. You could tell it wasn’t the first time she had heard this, she apologized and said went I find a new doctor they would send the record of this visit. She didn’t charge me anything.
Dr Bowen is straight forward. He does at times run a little late for appointments.
I don't like his bedside manner he takes more time putting the information in on the computer then he does with you.... but he is a good dr. and that's really why you're going !!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
