Very kind, very helpful doctor and staff.
We are not originally from this area & this was our first visit to Dr Woods. We waited over an hour in the waiting room & then another half hour in the exam room before seeing the doctor. She ordered a prescription & the staff said it was being sent to the pharmacy as we left the office late in the afternoon. We went to the pharmacy & they had not gotten it. So we called the pharmacy in the morning & still no script. We called the Dr's office 3 times that day & kept being told they would be sending it soon. 24 hours after we left the office, it finally was sent over. My wife was very uncomfortable & needed that script. There was no excuse for that 24 hour delay. Every doctor we ever visit sends prescriptions to the pharmacy within minutes of our leaving an appointment. If they're overworked, then they need more help, not excuses.
She is the best in Baldwin County. The issues with my employer’s insurance was the issue. If you need an advocate to work hard to get your medications approved, I am sad to say you need a different doctor. Dr. Woods let me know it was taking too much time for them to fight with my insurance. If your company uses VIVIO as a specialty drug provider, they are in the practice of fighting against the patient getting the medication the doctor feels they need.
Dr Woods was very informative and friendly. Her staff was also great.
My 80 year old Mom who is not in the best of health (hence the appointment) and who just lost her husband of 56 years, drove 25 miles for an appointment with Dr. Woods. Her staff are the main incompetent ones. They gave her a stack of papers which she had already filled out electronically on a previous visit. Then they put her in a room where she waited over an hour and a half and the doctor -or anyone- never showed up. No explanation or apology was offered when my mom finally decided to leave.
Let my 80 year old mother wait for over an hour and a half after driving 25 miles for this appointment, and never showed up and no one from the staff came in the room to offer any explanation nor apology. Finally she just left.
My 80 year old mother drove 25 miles to keep an appointment with Dr. Woods. The staff was incompetent and didn’t have the general paperwork that was previously submit electronically. Then she waited over and hour and a half for the doctor who never showed. No explanation or apology or anything was ever offered even when my mom told them she was leaving now.
No visit won’t call back on STAT referral to schedule
Amazing thorough Doctor...I trust het expertise & caring manner..only issue for me is she is so busy ..I have to see her assistsnts..which are competent..but not the expertise of Dr Woods....she is consulted &does all procedures tho......amazing Doctor....??????
Dr Woods did an outstanding job when I fainted and broke my leg and was admitted to South Baldwin Medical Center in Foley al. I had no doctors in the area. Letiesha Scott, NPA and Dr Woods headed up my treatment. They were an excellent team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
