Unusual experience. Communication is very poor. Bedside manner is disengaged and he acts like he has to be somewhere (all 3 visits). Hard to get a call back after testing. Five weeks after a second EGD, I could not get a call returned, so I had to get ugly with the receptionist. His nurse told me he had not reviewed my test results.

Not nearly as as impressed with Dr. Hagood as Dr. Haywood it is. He is too busy to speak with you about your problems. After coming out of anesthesia, I asked to speak to the doctor. The nurse told me he if I need to know the results I need to make an appointment with his office.

Had a capsule Endoscopy test on 8/7/19. As of this date 9/1/19. Have not heard from Dr about results. Called the office numerous times & was told the test results were normal, went to office got my records & discovered the test results were not normal !! Communication & follow up with me is less than desirable. My pain doesn't seem important , I will seek another Dr that will help me resolve my issues . Linda Nichols

I am a retired Army combat soldier. Dr Hagood has helped me tremendously over the past 6 years. I have had a variety of issues due to my injuries from my service duty and he has worked with me throughout each problem. I respect him, and most importantly I trust his judgement and expertise. Highly recommend.

Dr Hagood is OUTSTANDING. He picked up what was wrong with me that the drs at South Baldwin missed. He treats me like I am his only patient.

Missed an obvious problem during a colonoscopy. After suffering for more than a year another doctor spotted the problem thank goodness! Won't be going to him again!

Actually I given Thomas Hagood a (1) star. This man does not deserve a star. He is terrible, incompetent and needs to re-enter back into school. It took him an hour to phone me back just to tell me that I was not having the symptoms I indicated, which is weird because he was acting as though he is inside of my body. He refused to contact my pharmacy, and deliberately argued with me via telephone. What a waste of time on this person. He is as ignorant as they can come! DO NOT SCHEDULE AN APPT TO SEE HIM....... ESPECIALLY IF YOU LOVE YOUR LIFE!
