Awful. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, his staff was very rude. Also they aren’t competent. I am extremely allergic to penicillin, and clearly wrote that in the allergies section of the forms that I fillled out. They gave me a prescription for amoxicillin, and if my husband had not checked with Boaz Discount drugs, I would have probably been in the hospital or worse. They were more worried about getting the money. Dorsett was very rough and hateful when putting the post in for the implant. Never again. Would give zero stars. Needs to be shut down

This office is the worst I have ever experienced the staff was very rude .They couldn’t tell me if they accepted my insurance which other offices can and would tell. The staff was in a hurry didn’t take time to do any consultation, so they wanted me to come back the very next day. And I told them I could not come back the next day. So I called a few days later an the rude lady who answered, I asked about my insurance because they had all the information still could not tell me and reminded me I didn’t do a consultation because after they did X-rays they wanted to start pulling teeth?? Who does that and not knowing or can’t tell me if my insurance will cover it and then just in case it didn’t when I start to leave say oh by the way you owe us hundreds or thousands or dollars!! No thank you if they can’t be nicer or more professional than that I don’t want to use them.

My visit with Dr Dorsey, was most excellent. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends, without hesitation!

Seek a different oral surgeon. Dr. Dorsett and his staff provided the worst surgical experience for my child. The facilities are scarily dirty. His staff are disinterested and rude, and Dr. Dorsett takes no time at all during patient visits; furthermore, he shows no care or concern for pain management and believes one may become addicted to pain medicine in less than 96 hours. Truly, this was a painful experience for my child. But, if you are comfortable having surgery in a building that hasn't been updated since the 1970s, then go for it.

I had another molar pulled. It was capped, and broken off, and abscessed. Dr. Dorsette and his assistant gave me nitrous oxide (I have a lot of anxiety) and got the cap off and took the rest out in two pieces. I didn't feel a thing. I am so grateful for Dr. Dorsett, his patience, his gentleness, and what a great job he does! Thank you Dr. Dorsett Susan Galloway Gadsden, Al.

My daughter had an appointment to have her wisdom teeth taken out on the 2nd but then she had to have emergency gallbladder surgery early that morning, they were closed 01-01 when she found out about the surgery, but as soon as the anastesia wore off she called them she was told she would not be charged the $75.00 missed appointment charge which is way to high ,but when we went to have them out they charged her anyway and said the doctor said to charge her and he refuses to refund it, sad

I am about to spend a lot of money to have work corrected on my mouth, however it will not be with this business. I was recommend to see this practice by my dentist, however I am a firm believer that interest and respect is a key part of business and this practice has a staff who was rude and uninterested in having a thorough visit to discuss my problem. I personally felt as if they only saw the money not the patient. Going somewhere else, you should too!

Would not recommend him to anyone.
