I have attempted to contact the office Mgr numerous times in reference to a incident that took place Aug 3, 2023 in the Fort Payne office. We spoke that day but my calls, email since that day are being ignored. I do not understand what is so hard about returning a phone call. Our appt that day was suppose to have been with Dr. Shah.

Do not use this practice unless you are in an emergency situation and have absolutely no other choice!!! When a dr discharges you from SICU with a foley and schedules you for a voiding trial, I assume I am at that point this doctor’s patient. We’ll surprise surprise !! These DR’s and office staff will not help in any way if you have any problems with the foley you were discharged with, or bladder spasms. You are not considered a patient unless you have had surgery in the last 72 hours or have been seen In office! Absolutely no compassion or even the smallest amount of humanity! The office staff is horrible hateful inconsiderate *******!!!!

Appointment was at 2:15. Got there at 2:00. Finally saw the doctor at 4:30.

This place took me in during an emergency situation where anniston and Jacksonville wouldnt. The staff and doctors here understood the urgency of my situation, got me an appointment immediately and did surgery the same day. If it wasn't for them, I would have had blood poisoning, and would of had to had certain things removed that didnt have to be. If I would of waited for anniston urology, I'd probably be dead or very close to it. I can't thank dr Stevens and his staff enough. I will never go or reccomend anywhere else.

I have been seeing Dr. Stephens as my Urologist for 8 years. He has treated me for kidney stones, and prostate cancer. I never had any problems with the clinic . They are all very professional in your treatment.

My psa # was at 17 and I was sent to doctor Stephens. He didn't put me though a bunch of test, but he requested me to have a cat scan on bladder. He knew it was a infected bladder. He is very professional doctor and I will continue to use him. Thanks Dr Stephens.

Dr D Dawson Stephens was the most unprofessional doctor I have EVER delt with. I went in with my father to understand the course of his treatment so far, and he became more belligerent with every question I asked, especially when I asked him to repeat some things for clarity as I was taking notes. In the common parlance this man "showed his ass" in the most unprofessional way that I have ever experienced from a physician. I explained I was not questioning his decisions only trying to understand them. If you're looking for a physician that is willing to explain his treatment choices I advise you go to someone else.
