List of Ghanshyam Patel's Reviews
Professional, caring. Very thorough. Answered all questions, addressed any concerns. Office staff kind, courteous and prompt.
After reading the reviews for this Dr I was a little nervous about my Husband going there. He had an abnormal EKG that his primary Dr did on him in her office so she wanted to have everything checked just to make sure everything was ok which it was thank God. Dr G was the one we could get an appointment with the quickest & I am so glad we chose him. All of the staff were super friendly and just made you feel at ease & Dr G was very professional & seemed to know what he was doing. We felt very confident with him. I would highly recommend going to this Dr
Dr.G Patel office staff was great they took the time to listen, then meeting Dr.G Patel was a blessing to me and my family, he treated me as person then a patient, he took the time to listen to my concerns and fear but at the end he made me feel positive about my outcome, we need more doctors like this!!!
I would not take my dog to see this man. My sister was admitted through the ER at Riverview with acute coronary episode. She was hurting in her chest with numbness down her left are. She had pain in her back and left shoulder that ran up her neck in her jaw. He came to see her after she was admitted and he sat down and asked her if she had heartburn. She replied occasionally. He said you have acid reflux and nothing else. He never examined her and never came back to see her. She was released from the hospital 3 days later with acid reflux and in worse pain than when she was admitted. We took her to Erlanger Hospital in Tennessee the day she was released where the doctor actually cared and ran test and found out what was going on with her. This man has no respect for anyone and does not care about their pain. He would not even listen to my sister when she tried to tell him were she was hurting. To call him a doctor is a joke. If it would let me I would not leave him any stars at all.
Very poor experience with the doctor. Performed a cath without intervention which delayed the necessary intervention by a week. Set my grandmother home to die. Thankfully we got her to st Vincent’s where they immediately told us he put a bandaid over the problem. DO NOT TRUST HIM. His poor reputation proceeds him. Look it up.
Dr. Patel treated my 84 year old Mother during a hospital stay. She was having many issues other than her heart, Dr. Patel went above and beyond to get her help with issues not related to her heart when we were getting no help from other doctors. I can never express the gratitude for him when we were struggling trying to get any help. His office staff were extremely kind and very help.
Wonderful Consultation visit. Did not have to wait long. Staff is awesome . Love Dr Patel
Stay away! Just an example - (we are fairly new to the area and unaware of reputation of docs) G. Patel did echo in hospital on my husband. Took him two days to give "excellent" report on husband's ejection fraction. Husband remained lethargic and tired. I insisted on stress test.. Patel insisted this be done in his office. Took a week to get results. He reported all okay. I insisted on seeing the report. Met with resistance. When copy of test was received, it indicated ejection fraction in the 30' s. Called. Not allowed to talk with the"Doctor." He finally, after ONE WEEK relayed word echo was "more accurate." Went to another cardio who administered more accurate MUGA. Ejection fraction 37. Defibrillator required at 35. DON'T GO. I WONDERED why his parking lot was generally empty...
I always enjoy my visits with Dr. Patel. He is very friendly and thorough. He is a very good doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. His office staff are very friendly and care for all their patients. A great office staff!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
