Huma Khusro's Online Review Report Card

She's been so kind. I've been seeing Dr Khusro for a few years now and never had any problems. From the very first visit she's been nothing but nice to me. I've not felt rushed or ignored. She's worked with me to find the right medication and dosage for me and was careful to warn me of one medication she prescribed that could be habit forming if misused, but she's made sure that I have it if I need it.

Dr K has been awesome

Dr. Khusro is nice, but her office manager is a terror. I was called to confirm a telephone appointment for the following day and never received a call or message. Granted, I waited a while because I thought I had done something wrong, but upon checking, was informed that I was a “no show,” and would have to have another referral from my primary care and wait over two months for a new appointment.

Leaves you to withdraw with no tapering off. My husband and I moved here and our previous providers’ office closed down. Both of us have been on medications for over 5 years and she refuses to prescribe them or give a substitute! She left us to withdraw on our own. I had to call the office and wait for prescriptions that she agreed to fill. I did not feel safe with her. She was argumentative and dismissive. She talked over me and yelled at me. I have never felt bullied by a psychiatrist in my many years of using one.

Worst customer service EVER received. Has ZERO amount of empathy for their customers who actually need to be seen for medication. Has rescheduled my appointment twice now with no heads up or a voicemail to let me know prior, now she claims she is on vacation ? What profession schedules appointments on the days they know they will be gone? The front office lady told me I could go somewhere else even though my primary doctor referred me to their office? Very rude front office management. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Do not waste your time or money. Terrible, she has too many patients. She treats you just as you are, a time slot. at 28 minutes into your appointment she will stand end your conversation just as your not important and show you out and see you back in three months. Some of those reviews though. Okay then. me and my wife both was blowed away when she got up while I was talking. Enjoy. I'll be calling my neurologist to get another referral to someone who cares. Also will be letting anyone who seems to be suffering the same or similar to me. That she is definitely not the place to go. Not, only did my friend at the store already know about her antics. The lady I purchased my home from her friend also had a bad experience with her. So, just don't waste your time. Matter of fact, I think I might just launch a personal investigation into Drs like her and starting with her. P.s. F.O.

Dr Khusro Doesn't Care Dr. Khusro does not care if you get your medication(s) or not. She will only decrease or remove you from medications (even medications you've taken for years), she will never add a new one or increase dosage if needed if you have new or worsening symptoms. If you have a medication you need to take regularly, Dr. Khusro does not care if you run out or have enough refills or not. If you can get through to someone in the office (due to call screening), they will not be any help. Some doctors and therapists do care about their patients, but Dr. Khusro does not care if you have your medications or need them.

Never again. One of my friends killed herself before Christmas. The doctor didn't have time for me. This doctor left me. Now I'm leaving her.

I saw her for ten long years in every appointment I complained about headaches,dizziness,weakness, hallucinations,. She just sat there and had a look on her face that showed me she was going through some kind of seizure. Never did she discuss doing a cat-scan and I didn’t know in her position she could have and should have . I just learned today it’s called Paraneoplstic. This is the second doctor in Gadsden that has lead me to live the rest of my future a poor quality of life and Dr.Tumala oh yeah he never treated me for ulcer colitis I found that out in September of 2022 . I was rushed to riverview hospital oh yeah they will improve your quality of life ever body
