Fairly quick to be seen not very talkative which I find quite important especially when we're talking about the unborn child in my stomach still haven't received a vaginal exam and I'm almost 6 months pregnant which I find weird but overall a good experience

Dr. Phillips is very nice, but his bedside manner is lacking somewhat. Today he just walked out of my appointment at the end. He didn’t ask if I had any questions or anything. I had to ask the nurse at the nurses station if I was finished or not. He just seems tired.

i would give -stars if i could, i waited almost three hours in the room waiting on him , it was the first time i’ve ever had him as my Doctor. around 2 hours i opened the door to the exam room i was in and asked the nurse if i could see a NP because obviously the doctor was too busy to see me and i was hurting , little did i know the man beside her who had been out there on his phone and talking to her eveytime my boyfriend went to the restroom or i did was Dr.phillips. she told me “the doctor was busy at the moment but would be with me shortly”, when he finally walked in about 40 minutes later he went over my doctors labs he had ordered last visit just reading my test results and then when i asked him about my severe abdominal pain and headache i’ve had every day he gave a slight eye roll and said “everything is normal in pregnancy” and then got up and left .

He took his time and listened and answered my questions and concerns. I’m a quadriplegic and have a lot of other health issues to consider. He ran blood tests and Pap smear and explained a lot. I just wish that the local doctors and clinics and hospitals would get better equipped with equipment to help assist patients with paralysis. Also would like to see more of our local doctors, hospitals and clinics get more adapt to working with patients with autism as well. It’s difficult to get a lot of people with severe autism to even go into the building. We need more resources in Etowah County, Gadsden and Boaz. At least Dr Phillips didn’t turn me away and tell me that he wouldn’t be able to help me like some of the others. Thank you Dr Phillips!
