For two years I was feeling symptoms but my primary doctor did not see anything on my EKG. Then I sought referral to Dr. P and he saved my life. He saw something in my EKG that my primary doctor did not see. He immediately scheduled test and discovered Afib and blockages. Stints would not work for me so Triple bypass occurred. I came so close to my end of life and his expertise pulled me back from the end. I am blessed to see my first four new grandchildren. My family and I am forever indebted to him. His passion for saving lives and healing patients is amazing.

No one wants to go to a cardiologist and the business of medicine is becoming more impersonal every day. But there are still a few providers who stand out for what they do. My first encounter with Dr. P was when I answered a call from an unknown number something I do not often do. It was Dr. P calling from his personal phone to tell me what my tests had revealed put me at ease and let me know he had informed his staff to get me in quickly. At our first meeting I knew he was a different kind of guy someone you would enjoy joining for a coffee or a nice conversation. Every meeting since that time has been equally satisfying. I still have bad white coat syndrome and yes I still get nervous when it is time for a visit. But Dr. P continues to put me at ease explaining what to watch for and the lifestyle changes I need to make to stay healthy. And he never pushes me to do something I do not want to do. If there were 6 stars I would rate him with them

My mother has seen Dr. Parastatidis since her 2nd heart attack almost 3 years ago. He is a very kind and caring physician who has amazing bedside manners. He took the time to sit with my mother and answer any concerns she had. He even took the time to personally walk her up and down the halls of NGMC so see for himself how she was tolerating activity. To this day my mother says he is by far the best she has ever encountered.

Experienced AFib and Dr P performed Cardiaversion procedure to correct Systolic Arrhythmia. In follow up appt he reviewed prior imaging from 2015 and ordered new PET scan looking for abnormalities in heart. Excellent communication with patient and explanation of evaluation.
