Have faith in this clinic. I have issues with someone lying about me , and invading my privacy, even canceling my appointment ,The clinic has agreed to support me, and verify that I have been a good patient, following all the rules .

There are some serious issues with this place. Starting off my wife controls my meds and only gives them to me as prescribed. Unfortunately I have had to be on high dose of prescription pain meds ever since I was 18 due to multiple degenerative discs and some bulging discs even at 18. I had a urine test come back negative even though I took my medicine two hours before my appt. Then because of the neg result I had to get talked to by the nurse Emily which we will get to her in a minute. The second urine test was done this time a solid 2 hours before my appt because I knew they were drug testing me again. It came back negative as well. I tried to explain to my doctor and his nurse that myself along with all the males in my family have a variation in our genes OPRM1, as well as the gene CYP2D6. This makes our bodies metabolize pain medicine very rapidly or it takes more than usual to get us to get relief. As my neurosurgeon has told me on several occasions “you are definitely a red head when it comes to medicines even though you don’t have red hair” I tried to tell that to the doctor at my last appointment. I have had to be on prescription pain medicine now since I was 18 now I am 44 and I know my body better than anyone. Well then I go into the hospital for sepsis and a bone infection and stay for a week. Upon discharge from the hospital the doctors there at the hospital recommended the pain Dr to move me to a dilaudid 4mg pill to help control my pain. The hospital doctor said to discontinue the Percocet 10/325 I was on but keep the morphine 12 ER and start taking the dilaudid since it was just a small higher mme equivalent and the pain doctor would t have to add another pill on top of what I was taking. I was on morphine, Percocet 10 and 1mg dilaudid (every 3 hours to manage my pain) while I was in the hospital. I told the nurse Emily who apparently thinks she knows more than the doctors in the hospital because I told her the dr recommendation and told her they had faxed over the recommendation as well and what does she do? She put me back on lortab 10 which I have built up a tolerance to it because of being on it for 15 years. Hence why I was put on Percocet 10. Now today I go in for my appointment and have to sit an hour and a half just to be called back to do yet another urine test. They test it and it comes back negative as well, which there is no way in hell it could have come back because I had just left the hospital and they gave me iv morphine and a Percocet 10, and a 1mg of dilaudid iv because my body was hurting so bad from the bone infection. That I was considering being admitted to get the pain under control. Then upon Emily doing her half assed assessment of me goes to talk to the Dr, and my body may be failing me but when she said to someone “I think he’s just selling them” referring to my pain medication. How did I know it was me they were talking about?? Because I heard her talking to the doctor just a door down from me and telling him about my blood pressure being high and how I was in the hospital for sepsis. That is absolutely unprofessional and uncalled for and the Dr says some snide remark back to her and then he comes in and tell me my drug test was negative. Now no way in hell it would be negative because I took my Percocet and my morphine at the same time literally 2 hours before my appt today. and yet I tested positive for the morphine but not the Percocet. Do Not I repeat Do not see them. I called and placed a formal complaint against the doctor and the nurse Emily. Just because you think I am a young and healthy patient and that I don’t need pain meds to control my everyday pain, well that’s your opinion and you should keep it to yourself.

I scheduled an appointment with them. they told me at the time of scheduling that they couldn't prescribe pain meds because of the medication I'm already on. i told them I didn't want pain meds I needed an MRI to find out how bad the damage to my spine was and figure out where to go from there. After the intake nurse spoke with me another nurse came in and asked me if I was there for injections or pain meds because they couldn't see me for pain because of my current meds. I told her neither that I just want an MRI and then go from there. Dr. Hamilton came in asked me about what was going on with my back. As I was going over my injuries and symptoms he asked again about injections to which I told him that I don't want to do injections as I've had them before in another location of my back and it offered no pain relief,only to leave huge knots in my back that took weeks to recover from ,I let him know I didn't appreciate his nurse asking me about pain meds when I've already made it crystal clear to the nurse that that's not why I'm here.when making the appointment. I just want the MRI, find out what the damage is, then figure out what the options are and if im eligible for stem cells to which he replied that he wasn't going to order tests for the sake of ordering tests. Then said he couldn't help me. to which I replied I can give you the doctor's names and you can verify I've had 2 mri's and epidurals on my lower back and its not ordering them for the sake of ordering them but to figure out what other damge has occurred since my last mri over 14 years ago . It seems like this isn't a legitimate spine doctor just a place to get injections and get people hooked on pain meds.

I go to the Braselton location and they are terrible. The parking is awful. You will be there a minimum of 1-1/2 hours. One visit I was there for 4 hours to get an injection. After that visit I wrote a letter but never heard back. I did a follow up letter 2 weeks later and still no response. Front desk has a truly don't give a sh...t attitude. I am tryin alternatives

Took my father in law to the conyers office to get 2 injections. He went in and brought me paper to sign that I was his driver. They called me when he was ready to go and I pulled to the orange cones. When we got home I was taking off the arm band and it had a completely different persons name and date of birth in it. I tried to call office twice and had to talk to 3 different people and left two messages with two different people and never received a phone call back today! Then I looked at his injections on his back and they only gave him 1 when he was supposed to get 2!! The first person I talked to did confirm the patient that was on his wristband was in the office and their appointments were right there together. So I have no idea if he got what he done what he was supposed to. So frustrated!!

This office, Dr. Marrero, and his nurse practitioner are horrible. They will tell you one thing and do another, causing you to be in more pain. I cannot have an epidural because things have changed since my first visit and so they are refusing to continue my very modest dose of pain medication. I would love to have the epidural, but I need surgery and my surgeon instructed me not to get the epidural before my upcoming procedure and surgery with him, as it will affect the outcome. They act as if you’re a drug seeker after they don’t give you the amount of medication that was agreed on by you and the doctor. They are so rude, cold, and heartless and do not want to help manage your pain. Not only that, but they are terrible at scheduling. I called twice to get my epidural changed to a regular appointment, since I couldn’t have it done, and they told me it was done both times, only for me to show up and them not have it changed. They also told me twice that I could go pick up a corrected prescription at the doctor’s office and it would be ready, just to tell me they had no intention on printing it correctly and issuing it for what it should be. They told me that my medication is for severe pain, as if I’m not in severe pain every single day for the last month since my spinal issues started. I am never going back and urge anyone thinking of coming to this practice not to.

I work in the medical field and I would not recommend this place. The wait was long for a consult and if you call be prepared to be on hold forever. However, if you owe money they become friendly and available.
