List of Soto Julia's Reviews
In 2016, Dr. Julio Soto prescribed me 2 anti psychotic medications that clashed & caused a horrible reaction that put me in a catatonic state. I was on the meds for a week before I lost muscle mvmnt in my hands (I could barely hold a fork). My pupils were dilated & I was drooling uncontrollably. I was admitted to the hospital overnight because this occurred on a Sunday. I waited until I could be transported via ambulance to the Lindner Center of HOPE to be safely weened off this medication & watched closely until symptoms subsided. They prescribed me Seroquel which I had problems with months later. My mother couldn’t find a new doctor who accepted our insurance at the time so we stayed with Soto until one day I told him I would like to stop taking Seroquel because I was having vivid nightmares of people I love being murdered & severe muscle pains in my legs before bed. I found through research that these symptoms were from Seroquel & he got upset that I looked this info up online instead of consulting him. This info was found on highly credible websites. We got in a heated argument & that was my last straw w/ him. I highly recommend avoiding Soto because he will put you in danger. He doesn’t care about patient health, but the money he can get out of you. I would hate for another person to go through this awful experience.

Dr. Soto has moved to Troy, and we appreciate all that he does for us!! He cares about our family and has listen to our concerns throughout the Pandemic... He is a jewel to the City of Troy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
